On January 1st-3rd I was at many games around the state watching the Hoophall West at Skyline HS and the NIKE Tournament of Champions at multiple locations in the East Valley.

Here were the Top PF/C's

[player_tooltip player_id='1612468' first='Cameron' last='Williams'] St. Mary's

One of the more skilled forwards in the entire state and country. He shoots it well with mid-range fall aways, step backs and threes with a high release to never get blocked. He is a good passer for position and size and will rebound and block shots arguably better then anyone in the state with his almost 7-foot size and long wingspan.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555179' first='Darius' last='Wabbington'] Sunnyslope

The top true post player in the AIA had it all working for him on his way to becoming the MVP and winning the Hoophall West finals. He scores with threes, mid-range jumpers, step thrus, tough and-1's in traffic and he dominated the glass. He is also becoming a top notch passer and becoming way more vocal.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956218' first='Marcus' last='Isaac'] Mountain Pointe (Pictured)

A long and still developing and growing power forward shows you flashes of brilliance. He rebounds in and out of his area and is one of the better shot blockers in the class. He will score with easy dunks way above the rim with a quicker twitch and uses drop steps to get the defender off of him. He is a sneaky good passer and he can face up to the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107225' first='Mike' last='McIntyre'] Higley

A physical framed post player with wider shoulders and long arms. He can step out and shoot the three with a very high arc but does most of his damage with rip thrus, offensive rebound put backs and dunks. He will alter or block many shots per game and rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150903' first='Rocket' last='Schwertley'] Brophy Prep

A strong framed power forward will rebound at a high clip and box out his opponents like you should. He will score with three off the catch, step thrus, gets trips to free throw line often and plays harder then many. He has been slowly picking up college interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552733' first='Donovan' last='Palmer'] Chandler

A skilled face-up five man can easily step out and shoot the three off the catch, score with tough layups using either hand. He will get on the glass, alter or block shots and runs the floor well. His footwork is coming in but loves to shoot it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2564039' first='Aliou' last='Dioum'] Bella Vista Prep

The West Virginia commit is improving as the season goes on. His skill is getting more and more consistent with threes to the mid-range game. He will still score with lob dunks, euros, rip thrus and he is rebounding the ball at a high level plus will block a shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2197693' first='Chris' last='Brown'] Dream City Christian

A good size post player with very long arms and quicker reflexes to defend inside the paint and on the perimeter. He will score it with quick dunks way above the rim, step out and shoot the three and he can be a dunkers spot star in the half court set. His shot blocking keeps him on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1482163' first='Cristian' last='Simmons'] Sunnyslope

One of the heroes of the Damien Classic came back to AZ and filled it up with threes off the catch with his super quick trigger, he smartly cuts off the ball, rebounds in and out of his area and he will defend the 3-5 for the Vikings.
