Papcun has been one of the breakout stars in 4A so far this season, and he continued his torrid play with a 33-point outing against one of the best defensive teams in the state. A skilled shotmaker who has really improved as a ball-handler and shot creator, not only for himself, but for his teammates as well, he was great against the Little Cyclones last week.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2420796' first='Cole' last='Shannon'] (Clinton) -- 29 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3P, 17-19 FT), 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal [at Bettendorf]

Shannon was relentless against the Bulldogs, using his 6-4 frame and handles to get downhill and to the rim or the free-throw line consistently. Nineteen free throw attempts is a massive number, even more so when it wasn't done while trying to ice away a win. He showed his scoring and playmaking throughout.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1765536' first='Cooper' last='Porter'] (Senior) -- 29 points (11-13 FG, 7-9 3P), 1 rebound, 3 assists, 1 block [vs. Cedar Rapids Washington]

It's hard to argue with that type of efficiency, shooting 85% from the floor and 78% from the 3-point line. Porter is a cerebral, intelligent guard who doesn't force anything, which is part of the reason he's always so efficient.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='3255115' first='Max' last='Robertson'] (Linn-Mar) -- 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3P, 3-5 FT), 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 1 block [vs. City]

The coach's son has been putting together a really good senior year, showing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, and he did just that against the Little Hawks, putting up a double-double while also dishing out six helpers. He's a tough, intelligent guard who does anything that is asked of him.

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1765539' first='Max' last='Roach'] (Waukee) -- 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3P, 4-4 FT), 2 rebounds, 11 assists [vs. Cedar Rapids Washington]

One of the most talented guards in the state's 2026 class, Roach's ability to set his teammates up with his speed, vision, and IQ is rivaled by few. He was in complete control on the offensive end against Wash.

2026 PF [player_tooltip player_id='1643192' first='Landon' last='Davis'] (Waukee Northwest) -- 6 points (3-6 FG, 0-2 FT), 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 blocks [vs. Millard North, NE]

Davis was fantastic, especially on the defensive end, against one of the best teams in Nebraska last week at the MLK Classic. The future Illinois big man showcased exactly why Brad Underwood wants him - he's a dominant rim protector, great rebounder, and has the ability to set his teammates up out of the high post.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731773' first='Johnale' last='Johnson Jr'] (Davenport North) -- 22 points (8-10 FG, 6-9 3P), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals [at Davenport West]

A quick, athletic guard who is great when he's attacking the rim and playing downhill, it was actually the jumper that was on full display for Johnson against the Falcons, burying six 3-pointers. When his 3-ball is falling, he's really difficult to defend as he's able to attack hard closeouts on his jumper.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1978132' first='Jack' last='Ohman'] (Sioux City East) -- 18 points (5-9 FG, 8-11 FT), 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal [vs. Heelan]

The 6-5 combo forward put together a workmanlike double-double against rival Heelan, using his strong, physical frame to control the glass and finish at the rim routinely.
