Thrilling Overtime Showdown: Coronado Tops Corona Centennial

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Corona Centennial traveled to Henderson, NV on Saturday to take on the Coronado Cougars. It was a very entertaining game, with both teams competing at a high level. Corona Centennial led 14-13 after the first quarter, but the Cougars turned it on in the second quarter, going on a 21-10 run. Thanks to [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'], [player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'], [player_tooltip player_id='2484289' first='Devaughn' last='Dorrough'], [player_tooltip player_id='1463264' first='Jonny' last='Collins'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2819205' first='Graceson' last='Snow']. Which gave them a nice lead heading into halftime, 35-23. Isaiah Rogers then got going in the second half and helped the Huskies cut the Cougars' lead to 3, 49-46 after three quarters. Things tightened even more in the fourth quarter, and every possession became critical. With 2 minutes to go, it was all tied up at 63, and both teams failed to score again in regulation, which pushed the game into overtime. In overtime, Coronado went on a 7-0 run and their defense played great, ultimately securing the win. His IQ, shooting ability, and focus allow him to fill it up, and he can make shots from just about anywhere. A couple of his drives to the rack were quite tough, and his jumper was looking smooth.
