Fresh off being named to Scott's Top Rebounders list at the holiday break Sirbu backed it up with a dominant interior performance against Addison Trail. The 2027 forward scored the majority of his 25 points in the paint and lived up to his reputation on the glass pulling down 17 rebounds in a physical win.

Wednesday (1/7)

[player_tooltip player_id='2369873' first='Jared' last='Van Donselaar'] – Grayslake North | 2028

The up-and-coming sophomore continued to trend upward midweek. Van Donselaar showed his versatility by knocking down shots from beyond the arc while also finishing around the rim. He added toughness on the boards grabbing 13 rebounds to go with 20 points in a win over Round Lake.

Hunter delivered one of the performances of the week in a conference road win over Christ the King. The 5-8 guard was in full rhythm scoring from all three levels and keeping defenders off balance with his shifty handle and poise. Hunter poured in a career-high 44 points setting a new school record in the process.

Oliver saved his best for the weekend at the Steve Pappas Shootout. The top uncommitted senior point guard in the state put together a complete two-way performance creating havoc defensively and converting turnovers into easy points in transition. When the pace slowed Oliver knocked down threes against single coverage. He finished with 39 points in a highly anticipated matchup against nationally ranked 2028 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2531973' first='Brady' last='Pettigrew'] (Bolingbrook) once again proving his ability to rise to the occasion on a big stage.
