Dubois Does It All

East Peoria 2027 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2323592' first='Cole' last='DuBois'] completely controlled the game on Wednesday evening doing it all! We have watched him quite a bit in his career, but this was the best we have seen the junior ever look. Stuffed the stat sheet all night. He got steals over and over again with his anticipation and instincts taking them the other way for scores on at least four different occasions. Also can shoot it from distance as he banged in three from beyond the arc. Crisp ball handler that is strong with it throwing passes with flair in both the half court and transition. Tough and competitive leader! He had 21 points, 6 dimes, and 7 steals in the victory.

East Peoria Has Pieces to Make a Run in March

The name everyone knows for East Peoria is [player_tooltip player_id='2125674' first='Quinton' last='Kitt']. The Illini commit didn't shoot it particularly well in this game, but still found other ways to impact the game which is a huge strength of his. Got after it defensively using his length and athleticism for deflections, steals and blocks. Connective passer that has a really good feel for that. High points rebounds and can push off the defensive glass. He had 9 points with the highlight on a clean dunk off a steal. Jackson Ahrens is a 6'1” guard who has put his name on the map as a senior. Crisp ball handler that plays with pace and can get to the rim. Lots of scores in transition and tough finishes for 18 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2632017' first='Kaylen' last='Hardy'] brings some muscle for this squad while being able to put it in the hoop around the bucket and bank in a three as he had 7 points. Kingston Weatherspoon is a 2029 guard to track that has potential as he hit a three in this one netting 5 points.

Reed Should Be on Small College Radar

IVC was led by their 2026 point guard Grady Reed who popped to us as a small college gem. He had 15 points draining pull up threes, working in the mid-range, and rebounding well for a guard. Nice size and strength at about 6'2”. Their big man 6'5” wide bodied senior five man Ethan Dickinson is a wide bodied five that sealed, got on the offensive boards, along with a nice up and under move for 8 points. Junior wing Keegan Schol drained a pair of threes for 8 points. Not exactly sure what happened but UW-Platteville commit power forward Brady Ward didn't have his A game in this one as he only recorded one bucket on a cut and snatched a handful of rebounds while not playing in the second half.
