’27 Rankings: Stockrisers

In this article we'll break down some of the biggest stockrisers over the first two months of the season. Carter is averaging close to 20 ppg and has put up 30+ points despite seeing much more defensive attention this season. Wood's explosive athleticism as a shot-blocker, finisher above the rim, and as a lightning-fast guard in the open court have really raised his profile at the local level. He is a 6'7 W/F that uses his lateral movement skills and length to serve as an effective and versatile defender for the Eagles. His ability to shade guards on the ball and as an effective helper in traps boosts his value at the next level as an above-the rim athlete that can also use that athleticism on the offensive glass. Want to see the handle continue to improve to accentuate his long strides on drives to the rim, as well as the C+S ability from the perimeter. Alexander's footwork on the perimeter and quick hands allow him to serve as a really high-level POA defender that fights over ball screens to keep his matchup away from the middle of the floor. Alexander makes good decisions in the open court and is an unselfish passer both off the bounce and on the perimeter. Love his motor on the glass and how he's improved as a help defender that is working to contest shots vertically to avoid foul trouble.
