The Sophomore Class is making their impact, statewide. The class as a whole is very good and very talented. There is talent at every position and a lot of size, too. This particular update has a decent amount of movement in the rankings and there will likely be more as time passes with this group. Here's a look at the updated top 5 in the 2028 class.

Lindsay retains his spot on top of the class rankings but there are others who are starting to make a push for that #1 spot. Lindsay has really impressed with his shooting this season, knocking down over 40% of his threes so far for the Tigers. The most surprising thing is that Josh is not getting to the free throw line more often. With his athleticism and skill, I'd expect he would be living at the line, converting and-1 opportunities.

Rising up from 4th to 2nd in this update, Jordan is having a fantastic season for Male, so far. Mitchell is averaging 25 points per game with shooting splits of 57/44/71 and adding over 5 rebounds per game from the point guard spot. About halfway through his Junior season, Jordan is making a strong statement to move up to the top spot in our next update.

Trey continues to improve and has one of the highest prospect ceilings in the entire state. Hillerich is an advanced shot blocker and has a high skill level on the offensive end. Capable of stretching out past the three point line, the big man has the potential to be an elite level recruit thanks to his rare combination of size and skill.

A double-double threat every night, Terry moves up from 6th to 4th in this update. Averaging 21 and 10, Andrew combines a high skill level with a big time motor and makes himself one of the best players in this class. Much like Hillerich, Terry can stretch out to the three point line and keep defenses honest. As Andrew continues to add to his skill level, he has a chance to be a high level recruit.

Cook has had to wait half his season after transferring from CAL to Ballard then back to CAL before getting eligible over the weekend. Now that he's back on the court, Boogie will need to prove the naysayers wrong by playing with a strong motor at all times and not floating out to the three point line too often. He still has the athleticism and measurables to be one of the best in this class and a national recruit. Even more than he already is.
