Tuesday night had some eye opening results and our Predictions..... Nearly perfect. Check it out now!

1AAAA Wayzata at 7AAAA Prior Lake

Prediction. CORRECT. We picked [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] by 16, they won by 12. [player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] scored 27 and [player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] had 17 points. It was an 81-69 win for the top ranked team in the state.

6AA Breck at 9AAAA Apple Valley

Prediction. CORRECT. We said Eagles by 13, they won by 11 (77-66). [player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] made a big statement scoring 28 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1560866' first='Camare'' last='Young'] had 21. The Eagle main pair was the difference in the box score.

4AA Minnehaha Academy at 7AAA Orono

Prediction.CORRECT. We said Orono by a basket and they won by three points (we predicted a two point game so not perfect). Orono won 63-60 over the Hawks.

10AAA Waseca at Belle Plaine

Prediction. WRONG. We predicted Waseca by two points, Belle Plaine won the game by four points. It was likely Belle Plaine's entrance into the top ten. We said [player_tooltip player_id='2118474' first='Ethan' last='Martin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] would both have huge nights and they did. We said one would score 40 plus and Deron did (48). Ethan had 33 while Logan Anderson scored 22 to help Martin.

Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial at 5A Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton

Prediction. CORRECT. We said JWP by nine points, they won the game 51-44 by seven points. It was a much lower scoring game than we expected.

Legacy Christian at 9AAA Becker

Prediction. CORRECT, kinda. We said Becker would win and they did, but we didn't expect an 85-60 blowout win for the Dogs. [player_tooltip player_id='1506327' first='Nathan' last='Weiss'] scored 28 points highlighted by six threes for the top ten Dogs.

I Saw It On Twitter!

Rochester Century was not supposed to compete with Mayo but it was a four score game and it was junior [player_tooltip player_id='2385637' first='Nathan' last='Long'] that led the way. Century lost 54-65 and [player_tooltip player_id='2385637' first='Nathan' last='Long'] had nearly half of the Panther points scoring 25 points with ten boards and five assists.

Westonka junior guard Mika James scored 47 points leading his team to a win over St. Francis. Freshman Marcus Lessor helped the team with 19 points and number of rebounds.

Another really strong game from [player_tooltip player_id='2140576' first='Carson' last='Deibele'] as Monticello wins again, this time beating STMA 78-56. The Hoops Czar had Carson for three threes and 23 points overall.

Upset of the Night

Jefferson lost good players to transfer and everybody expected nothing from them this year while AHA is a team that we thought was top 20 level in AAA. Last night Jefferson beat AHA 69-64 with four players scoring in double figures. Senior point guard Oliver McInterney had 13 for the Jags while junior [player_tooltip player_id='2140616' first='Gavin' last='Vanoverbeke'] had a dozen.

Irondale knocked off Osseo 73-68. Osseo is a team we talked about as maybe top 15 this year, outside shot of top ten. Irondale? Spoken about as one of the worst in AAAA. And Irondale got the win. No stats anywhere but a great win for the Knights.

St. Louis Park defeated Champlin Park 79-63. The O's not only pulled off a surprise, they whooped the Rebels getting up double figures in the first half. [player_tooltip player_id='2121351' first='Tanner' last='Rose'] scored 22 points to lead the way.
