Hyatt had a monster weekend with massive scoring outbursts on both Saturday and Sunday for Spire International Varsity. I was impressed by the juice he showed off the dribble, being able to attack closeouts by using crossovers and pump fakes to get the defense off balance. A volume shooter from the outside, Hyatt can rattle off three made jumpers in a row when he gets going. His production as a scorer off the ball really stood out over the weekend. Hyatt is a no brainer scholarship target and should draw attention from schools in the midwest and in the Carolinas where he is from.

The Louisville commit was looking confident on both ends of the court in his hometown as he had to battle in the paint against the number one center in the country. Wright showed toughness and forced them to shoot over him and kept him off the glass. Wright also knocked down a nasty top of key 3-pointer off the dribble and hit another one off the catch later in the game. La Lumiere was pulling away from Iowa United and a Wright alley-oop slam dunk to cap off the win.

Another prospect playing in his home state, Weis and Wright each had a future college coach on the sidelines watching him play. Weis rotated for a monster blocked shot early in the game but his offense came alive in the fourth quarter when he hit a pick and pop 3-pointer, scored on an up and under and then finished a layup off a lob. Physically Weis should be ready for the college level from day one and has the talent to be an impact player for Western Kentucky.

Nkemka was living in the paint all weekend getting to the rim off the dribble whenever he wanted. Finishing numerous layups with his dominant right hand, Nkemka did a nice job of getting back to his dominant hand off the dribble. I was also impressed with his body control in mid air to finish. Getting low off the dribble can really help guards change directions and get around defenders at the point of attack and Nkemka did a great job of that this weekend. Already holding an offer to Saint Louis, I'd expect similar level programs to show interest in him this summer.

A prospect Prep Hoops was first to rank nationally, Rinaldo-Komlan is starting to receive buzz from other national outlets. It's easy to see why as he was incredibly productive scoring over his right shoulder and finishing with his dominant left hand. Rinaldo-Komlan ran the floor and scored multiple times by beating opposing bigs down the court and simply crashing the offensive glass. While the flashes are incredibly intriguing, Rinaldo-Komlan still has plenty of room to grow offensively but that should make him even scarier to face when these skills improve with more polishing. Iowa State got a forward who perfectly fits what they want to do and has tremendous long term upside, a perfect pairing.
