The 6'2” Junior from Washington stepped up in a big way pushing the Hatchets out to an early lead with a versatile scoring punch. Armes was scoring from all over the floor in an efficient way. He's an excellent cutter off the ball with good hands that catches everything thrown to him. He's physical enough to gather at the basket and finish through contact. He's not the quickest or most athletic, but has shown the ability to put the ball on the floor on the perimeter and get to his spot to score. Off the catch he's a smooth shooter that makes the most of his opportunities. He's a solid team defender that understands where and when to be there. Several times against Evansville Harrison he was the low man and slid over to help side and contested a layup.

High potential smooth Freshman Wing delivered one of the better overall performances on the day. Plays with a load of confidence for a young player. Scores it well from all over the floor. Knows how to use his body to get to his spots. At his size, he's able to play inside and out depending on his matchup. He's crafty around the basket being able to score in multiple ways with either hand. More of a play finisher right now, he has potential to initiate offense and has shown flashes of good court vision. When the motor is going he will be one of the most talented players on the floor. It's just a matter of playing hard all the time at this point.

Versatile combo guard that thrives in transition getting downhill where he puts pressure on the defense with paint touches. Long and lanky guard that's crafty with the ball in his hands. Quick first step in the half court playing on balance being able to finish with either hand around the basket. Jump shot is a work in progress, but he shoots it with confidence and doesn't force it.

The high potential Sophomore Guard/Wing was a breakout star in Evansville Harrison's 54-51 win over Washington. Put together prospect that impacted the game on both ends. Physical driver that plays through bumps from the defense. Capable three-point shooter that knocked a couple down in the win. In crunch time, Harrison played through him and he made play after play. Aggressive defender that's able to guard multiple spots on the floor.

The 6'3” Senior Combo Guard out of Evansville Bosse was the main beneficiary from the presence of [player_tooltip player_id='1760994' first='Dorion' last='Bowen'] making his debut. [player_tooltip player_id='2172596' first='Marrius' last='Harris'] was in attack mode from the opening tip in Evansville Bosse's win over McCutcheon at Hatchet House Hysteria. He got going early with a couple open threes, then got ultra aggressive getting to the basket. Defensively he has good length and pressures full court with active hands where he's looking to turnover the opposition and turn it into points. Above average athlete that's slippery getting in the lane in the half court, but was able to show off his bounce with a steal and one hand dunk.

High motor wing that impacted the game early and often with his effort on the defensive end and rebounding. High level defender with his length that allows him to guard multiple spots on the floor. Like defensively, offensively he has a complete game. He can initiate offense and showcased good court vision. He's an aggressive driver from the wing and that plays off two feet well. Capable three-point shooter off the catch, but thrives on getting downhill.

Smooth small school guard that impacts the game on both ends of the floor without having to score. He's a high IQ player that does all the little things that helps his team win. Countless times in his teams win over Christel House at Hatchet House Hysteria for Kieran dive on the floor for loose balls, get a crucial steal that led to a basket in transition, or simply just calm the team down with his presence down the stretch. He's not the quickest or most athletic player on the floor, but is crafty with the ball getting in the lane where he can finish in a variety of different ways. Down the stretch he's a reliable free throw shooter as he showed in the win on Saturday hitting six consecutive free throws the seal the game for Barr-Reeve.

Jayden is a high motor wing that continues to hone his offensive skills becoming an all around player. Heavy right hand driver that can plays on balance and through contact while being able explode to the rim finishing strong. He's a capable shooter off the catch with good elevation into his jumper. Versatile defender that plays aggressively in passing lanes and pressures the ball looking to turn defense into offense in a hurry.

The sharpshooting junior guard out of Decatur Central was a little off to start the game against Evansville Reitz at Hatchet House Hysteria. Deep three-point shooter that has a smooth release and hits at a high clip. High IQ off the ball that knows how to run off screens and get himself opened. Comfortable with the ball in his hands as a secondary ball handler. Has the ability to run the point, but his talents are maximized off the ball.

Not sure there was a player with a higher motor at Hatchet House Hysteria than [player_tooltip player_id='2892524' first='Elyas' last='Zapata']. The physical, versatile inside-out forward was making plays on both sides of the ball with his effort. He's a mismatch problem for his size. He had a nice blend of size, strength, and speed. He can take smaller defenders down on the block and punish them while also being skilled on the perimeter to use his speed to get past them or shoot over the top. Defensively, he's effective guarding bigs or guard with the same intangibles as he has on the offensive end. He has good foot speed and length to keep up with guards while having the strength to guard bigger players down in the post.
