The classes of 2026 and 2027 are stacked with talent across the state of Oklahoma. After watching games and reviewing countless highlights, we're excited to shine a spotlight on a select group of athletes who are making a major impact. These players aren't just putting up impressive numbers, they're also stepping up as leaders, elevating their teams, and setting new standards for excellence on and off the field. Today, we highlight those who are turning potential into performance and helping their programs reach new heights.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552385' first='Jamel' last='Morris'] | Douglass

The 6'4” wing has been a force in every game so far this season. Averaging an impressive 22 points and 11 rebounds per contest, he has been a key factor in propelling his team to a 9-1 start. Known for relentless pressure on defenders, Morris attacks the rim with skill and confidence, while his ability to run the floor in transition makes him a constant scoring threat.

What truly sets him apart, however, is his dominance on the boards. Despite facing taller opponents, his effort, persistence, and tenacity allow him to consistently secure crucial rebounds and create extra possessions for his team. Morris isn't just filling the stat sheet—he's elevating the entire program with his work ethic and impact on both ends of the floor.

Quamayne Evans | Northwest Classen
The junior guard has been on a scoring tear this season, turning heads with his explosive offensive performances. Last week, he put up a jaw-dropping 41 points, along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds, leading Northwest Classen to a commanding 91-68 victory over Enid. Evans is a versatile scorer who can hurt defenses in multiple ways.

A true three-level threat, he boasts a smooth left-handed shot from deep, while his crafty play in the paint allows him to navigate traffic and finish over taller defenders. Despite his size, Evans uses angles, footwork, and quickness to create scoring opportunities, making him a constant challenge for opponents and a dynamic playmaker for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552391' first='DeShawn' last='Denson II'] | Midwest City
[player_tooltip player_id='1552391' first='DeShawn' last='Denson II'] has emerged as one of the most efficient offensive players in the Oklahoma City Metro to start the season. The senior is averaging over 25 points per game while shooting an impressive 56% from the field. His development from beyond the arc and at the free-throw line has been remarkable, with Denson connecting on 48% of his three-pointers and an outstanding 93% from the charity stripe.

Last week, he showcased the full scope of his all-around game in an 81-57 victory over Noble, recording 24 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals. Denson's ability to score efficiently, distribute the ball, and make an impact on both ends of the floor makes him a dynamic force and a true leader for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352732' first='TJ' last='Williams'] | Newcastle
The senior forward has been a steady and impactful presence for Newcastle this season. Standing 6'8”, Williams combines his length with a relentless motor to dominate the boards and provide his team with extra possessions. Earlier this month, he showcased his scoring ability against a strong Del City squad, finishing with 22 points and 8 rebounds by consistently converting around the rim.

Beyond his work inside, Williams has excelled in transition, frequently outrunning opposing forwards to finish easy baskets before defenses can set. His combination of size, athleticism, and effort makes him a constant threat on both ends of the floor and a key contributor to Newcastle's success.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382095' first='Matt' last='Mason'] | Oklahoma Christian Academy
[player_tooltip player_id='2382095' first='Matt' last='Mason'] has started the season strong, stepping up in the absence of teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2408566' first='Carter' last='Coleman'] and proving to be a cornerstone for Oklahoma Christian Academy. The 6'2” junior guard has shown tremendous effort and tenacity on both ends of the floor, particularly on the glass, where his hustle has been invaluable. Through the first ten games, Mason is averaging 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists, displaying efficiency even against quality competition, including a 25-point performance on 66% shooting against Millwood.

On offense, Mason plays with control and poise, creating opportunities for himself and his teammates, while on defense, his timing and positioning allow him to contest and even block shots against taller opponents. With multiple games featuring several blocks, Mason combines skill, intelligence, and relentless effort to impact every facet of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2408760' first='Isaiah' last='Thompson'] | OKC Storm
The junior forward has been a cornerstone for the OKC Storm this season, consistently proving himself as a key contributor on both ends of the court. Thompson has stepped up his game against top-tier competition, demonstrating a level of skill and poise beyond his years. In a standout performance against Terra Verde, he poured in 17 points, going a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc, showcasing not only his sharpshooting ability but also his confidence in high-pressure situations.

Beyond his scoring touch, Thompson's athleticism and energy are evident every time he hits the floor. His ability to push the pace, run the floor in transition, and make plays for himself and his teammates makes him a dynamic presence on both offense and defense. With his combination of shooting, speed, and relentless effort, [player_tooltip player_id='2408760' first='Isaiah' last='Thompson'] continues to establish himself as one of the most exciting and dependable young talents in the league.

The classes of 2026 and 2027 are stacked with talent across the state of Oklahoma.
