Scrappy in the best way, he did everything his team needed — whether it was controlling tempo, defending, or executing exactly what the coaching staff asked.    Amundsen showed he can stretch the floor as a reliable long-distance shooter, and he consistently penetrated to attack the rim or facilitate for teammates. His poise and controlled the game for literally 31 minutes.    A leader, a connector, and a high-IQ guard who elevates his teammates. His aggressive drives opened up kick-out opportunities for Clovis North's shooters, helping the offense flow.   Montgomery also knocked down shots himself and showed he can absorb contact at the rim. Clayton Valley tasked him with guarding Clovis North's star 5'9 guard — a quick, tough assignment and Grissom handled it extremely well. He stayed locked in, didn't let early misses affect his body language, and delivered when it mattered most.   Grissom hit two big threes late and scored nine points in the fourth quarter, helping the Ugly Eagles erase a double-digit deficit and rally for the win. His threes continued to look pure off the hand, and he never forced bad shots, letting the game come to him. Up two points with seconds left, Grissom sealed the game on defense with a steal. The very next day, Simpson showed why he's one of the most intriguing prospects in the event — delivering one of the top highlights of the entire NorCal Showcase. In a half-court set, he drove left from the top of the key and flushed a two-hand dunk off his right foot, a big-time athletic play in traffic.
