High School Spotlight: Centerville Bulldogs

The season is still a few weeks away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. Although he's coming off a season where he wasn't 100% healthy, Hollendonner is expected to return as the most productive player on the floor for the Bulldogs. In just 10 games last season, he averaged 15.0 points per game. He makes his impact by being physical and consistent around the basket, and because of that, he has a real chance to become Centerville's all-time leading scorer this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2617854' first='Jace' last='Hollendonner'] <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chace-ford/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player expected to take a big step forward this season is [player_tooltip player_id='2617854' first='Jace' last='Hollendonner'], the younger brother of [player_tooltip player_id='1738825' first='Shea' last='Hollendonner']. As a freshman last year, Hollendonner averaged 10.5 points and 1.9 assists per game, showing flashes of his potential early on. He's a talented and athletic guard who can make plays all over the court.
