[player_tooltip player_id='2919441' first='Amari' last='Carroll'] was locked in from the get go against LV Gray. He was getting good, clean looks from 3 point land and connected on most of his attempts. I also liked the way he was getting his teammates involved. On the other end of the court, Carroll was being a pest.

I don't believe I had seen Jacob Jackson play before. But I liked what I saw from him on Saturday. He is a sharp shooter from beyond the arc and his stroke was consistent throughout the game. He ended up connecting on 6 3-pointers by the time the final buzzer went off. Jackson will definitely be a name to monitor this high school season.

Alyo Hawkins was assertive when he had the rock on offense. He was driving hard to the rim and made tough finishes through contact. The freshman combo guard also connected on shots from the outside. On defense, he was constantly hustling and didn't take any possessions off. All in all it was a solid performance from him, and I liked how he competed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2624906' first='Damari' last='Sawall'] got plenty of paint touches against Toros Select. From there he utilized his footwork and vision to make things happen. On the other end of the court, Sawall was giving good effort and helped force turnovers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2918862' first='Benjamin' last='Brown'] was making it look easy on Saturday. He let it go with confidence from long range and splashed in a couple of 3's. He also got to the cup and hit a really smooth reverse layup. Although he's just a freshman, he's already showing some promise and maturity. And he'll be an entertaining prospect to watch these next few months.
