2028 Rankings: New Additions

Carter had a good couple of games when I caught him out at the [program_tooltip program_id='2458562' first='HC' last='United'] Jamboree. Shot the ball very well from the perimeter at many different spots on the floor. Not afraid of the big moment and capitalized on a lot of opportunities despite being one of the younger players on the floor. Carter knows how to read the floor and make the right play more times than not.     Bryson is a strong scoring guard who makes solid contributions each time out. He can put the ball in the bucket in a multitude of ways, whether knocking down perimeter shots or driving into the lane finishing with a floater. Bryson uses his skillset to create plays for him and his teammates all game long. Keeps the ball moving when at the point but scores efficiently from all three levels when aggressive. Has some true potential at the next level.     Khari can get it done in a multitude of ways on the offensive end. Shoots the ball with consistency from range and can't be left open. He looks for his shot beyond the arc and inside the perimeter off the dribble. Never hesitant with the ball and makes each decision with confidence. Grown a bit in height over the summer and put his game on our radar after a strong summer. Reliable guard with some real potential.     Malachi was one of our biggest additions to the rankings. Great size and skill as a wing prospect and uses it well. Like the way he can use his strength and speed to get to the basket and finish through. Malachi showed he is a true 3-level scorer, reliably knocking down jumpers both spotting up or off the dribble. Never worried about the contest due to his athleticism and lift on his jumpshot. I hope to see his game evolve over time as he should be a major force at Lake Clifton.     Sharpshooting quick PG [player_tooltip player_id='3035468' first='Trae' last='Payton'] has made a case for the '28 rankings following his play this summer/preseason. Strong ability to shoot from deep range and will fire off at every open opportunity. Trae gives lots of effort on both ends of the floor and gets into the middle of a lot of plays during the game. I like Trae's skill running the point or playing off the wing. He makes good decisions whether to pass or shoot and knows when it's his time to attack. Confident young guard that plays with a level of fearlessness.     Brayden impressed our scouts thanks to his new and solid contributions to the Boys' Latin roster. He makes plays all game long on either side of the court. Never backs down from his opponent, will guard the opposing big man with the same fearless approach as a smaller guard on the perimeter. Shoots the ball from anywhere on the court and can break down the defense with his handle and unpredictability. Brayden is a jack-of-all-trades from the guard spot and will make a big impact as a young transfer this season for the Lakers.
