[player_tooltip player_id='2344521' first='Micah' last='Gordon'], 6'0 Plainfield

Gordon is the top-ranked prospect in the class and should put that on display throughout the course of the season. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Gordon rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and can thread passes to his open teammates in the half court. He is unafraid of the big moment and shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Gordon made Second Team All-State last season and is vying for Player of the Year Honors this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763527' first='Chris' last='Abreu'], Cherry Hill East

Abreu has the potential to play either guard spot, which he should put on display this season. He has a quick first step, which he uses to get into the paint off the bounce and finishes nicely around the rim. Abreu can also score in the mid-range and uses his size to see over his defender. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end and moves well without the ball in his hands. Abreu is a speedy guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201944' first='Allan' last='Gomez'], 5'11 Elizabeth

Gomez transferred into Elizabeth during the summer and is looking to make his impact felt right away. The 5'11 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Gomez rarely forces jumpers in the half court and can find his open teammates in the half court. He slides his feet on the defensive end and moves well without the ball in his hands. Gomez is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to stretch the floor and make smart decisions with the ball in his hands will help his stock throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201964' first='Elijah' last='Caldwell'], 5'6 East Orange

Caldwell had a good debut season for the Jaguars and is looking to build off of it this season. The 5'6 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and finds his open teammates in the half court. Caldwell knows how to finish around the basket and can also score in the mid-range. He is a tough on-ball defender and pushes the pace well in transition. Caldwell is a skilled guard prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor throughout the winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344532' first='Nolan' last='Gong'], 5'10 Marlboro

Gong has been a key part of the Mustangs' offense and should put it on display this season. The 5'10 guard has a clean shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Gong is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Gong's ability to stretch the floor and get deflections is something that will help raise his stock over the next couple of months.
