Southern Arizona Showcase First Team Defense

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Southern Arizona Showcase hosted over 150 student athletes from over 40 different high schools across Southern Arizona. Players were placed on teams and played in 2-3 games throughout the day. He made his case as the top two way guard in the Southern Arizona 2028 class. 94 foot defender with very quick feet. Can stop on a dime and switch direction with ease. With his disciplined defense Knight usually dictates where his opponents go and forces them to play uncomfortably. Knight was the runner up MVP of the showcase huge part to his defensive performance. Athletic enough to block floaters, pinned the ball against the glass many times throughout the day. Another player selected to the top 20 game based on his defensive performance. Physical defender that uses his wingspan, speed and good footwork to make it tough for his opponents. Shining moment in the top 20 game where Flagg jumped up with an opponent going for a dunk where Flagg pinned the ball to the glass blocking the dunk attempt. An athletic wing with top notch footwork. High game IQ especially on the defensive end. Strong rebounder and gifted shot blocker with his length and athleticism. Physical and vocal and plays with a strong motor. Can guard any position on the court and does it well. Leader who impacts the game at a high level. Very strong and very athletic. Boxes out extremely well creating easy rebounding opportunities for himself and his teammates. Strong defensive stance and quick feet for his size. Has lengthy arms to make passing and shooting extremely hard for his opponents. Elevates high for shot blocks. It was no different during the Southern AZ Showcase. Moore is a very vocal, high energy defender. He will pick up the length of the court every possession and more times than not will get a steal or force a bad pass. Very physical and very disciplined. Seemed to grab just about every rebound and finished with multiple dunks. Gifted shot blocker that made it nearly impossible for the opposition to finish at the rim. Did very well guarding other big in attendance.
