Season Preview: Coronado

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I got a glimpse of Air Nado at The Border League. They won a high scoring game against ABC Prep 86-81. Both [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'] went off to help them get the win. Greig had 28 and Oba had 25 points. They then lost game 2 against SoCal Academy. [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'] (6'6) just moved to Henderson from Pennsylvania and he plays with a lot of maturity, despite just being a Junior. Another top prospect on their roster is 6'9 Siyahe Siasiai. Who will be very entertaining to watch this season. He can make highlight reel plays on offense by throwing down vicious dunks. Or he can block a shot into the stands on defense. Then you have [player_tooltip player_id='1707488' first='Demari' last='Hunter'] (6'3) who is an absolutely relentless defender and he'll likely give the Cougars chances to get out in transition. In the other guard spot, they have [player_tooltip player_id='1463264' first='Jonny' last='Collins']. Who puts pressure on the rim with his speed. 2028 Forward, Devaugh Dorrough (6'7) has the tools to one of the toughest guys to contain on the West Coast. And he'll likely be a reliable contributor when it comes to rebounding. The Cougars then have a premier scorer in [player_tooltip player_id='1490283' first='Amare' last='Oba'] (6'6). Who can fill it up from 3 point land, or he will attack the rack and dunk it. Which often gives his team a bit of momentum as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They also have [player_tooltip player_id='2407333' first='Cooper' last='Stahl'], [player_tooltip player_id='2819205' first='Graceson' last='Snow'], [player_tooltip player_id='2888920' first='Logan' last='Svendson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2637200' first='Erik' last='Hopkins']. They have a difficult schedule, which should prepare them for the 5A playoffs. He plays with a lot of pace and has the athleticism to beat defenders if they get out of position. He can also connect on shots from beyond the arc and he gets to the stripe at a high rate. When you look at the pieces around him, he has a number of skilled players that he can hit for open looks too.
