These players were among the elite scorers in the state last season — the best of the best when it came to putting the ball in the basket. Each averaged over 25 points per game, with two surpassing the 30-point mark. Their scoring ability has drawn attention from college programs, and while each player has their own style and preferred spots on the floor, they all share one thing in common: they know how to score. Including the top scorers who graduated last year, these returning standouts each finished among the top ten in the state in scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1745583' first='Braxton' last='Keathley'] led the state in scoring last season, averaging an impressive 34.3 points per game and finishing with the second-most total points in Kentucky at 960. A true three-level scorer, Keathley is just as dangerous attacking the rim as he is pulling up from mid-range or beyond the arc. He's efficient at the free-throw line and has a knack for creating his own shot, reading defenses, and finding scoring opportunities. When he gets into a rhythm, he can take over a game in a hurry, capable of putting up big numbers in short stretches.

Tylin George was the other player in the state to average over 30 points per game last season, finishing third in Kentucky at 31.3 points per contest. A dynamic three-level scorer, George uses his athleticism to attack the rim and finish through contact. He plays with intensity and power, often converting tough drives. Explosive and confident with the ball, he's capable of heating up quickly and putting points on the board in bunches, while also creating his own opportunities off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2212469' first='Corey' last='Flinchum'] has been scoring at a high level for several years, averaging 26.7 points per game last season and already surpassing the 2,000-point mark for his career. He uses his strength to attack and finish at the rim, while also proving capable from the perimeter and consistent at the free throw line. His blend of size, strength, and natural scoring instinct makes him one of the top offensive talents in the state.
Walker Russell ranked as the No. 10 scorer in the state last season, averaging 26.3 points per game. While he connected on just 17 threes, he remains a capable threat from the perimeter. Inside the arc, Russell consistently finds quality looks, using his touch to score efficiently and explosively in the paint. Having already surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career, he's poised to build on that total and further establish himself as one of the state's premier scorers.
