Charlie is a great all around player who showed the capability of playing both scorer and facilitator. Whenever IBA HS Silver needed a basket, Charlie scored with extreme confidence. He's an excellent ball handler who continuously drove around opposing defenders. I would classify Charlie as a play-maker. Whenever he drove to the basket, Charlie either scored or dished off assists to other teammates. He's the kind of player who goes above and beyond on the basketball court. Charlie gives maximum effort on both ends of the floor. There was a sequence in the game where he used the hesitation dribble to create space. This allowed him to get off a clean look from three-point range. Of course, he knocked it down! I expect Charlie to have a very productive basketball career.     MJ showed the ability to score from all three levels of the floor. Whether it was getting to the basket, scoring from mid-range or knocking down three-pointers, Alhuda HS Boys Black had no answers. MJ easily beat defenders off the dribble. This allowed him to make plays by either scoring or kicking out passes to open teammates. In one-on-one situations, he was able to create enough space to effectively knock down jumpers on the perimeter. Whenever the opportunity came to make a three-pointer, MJ showed no hesitation. In my opinion, this young man was the most skilled offensive player on the court. Defensively, he had three steals and numerous ball deflections. MJ is a legit player who has a chance of having a great basketball career.     A tough player who showed the ability to score inside or knock down mid-range shots. Zaki is a tough shot maker. During the game against IBA HS Silver, he used a quick first-step to blow by his opponent and score around the rim. On some occasions, his baskets led to three-point play opportunities from the foul line. I was impressed by his rebounding prowess at the power forward spot. Zaki attacked the glass with the same ferocity as he did offensively. Most of his points inside came from put-backs around the basket. Whenever the team had chances to score, Zaki was the focal point of the offense. On defense, he forced turnovers by applying pressure on the ball and being a physical presence in the paint.     Dupree is the “hustle guy“ for Alhuda HS Boys White. He always found himself near the basketball. Whether it was rebounding, scoring inside, taking charges or defending, Dupree found ways to be effective on the court. He was the kind of player who took pride in grabbing rebounds. Dupree attacked the glass on both ends of the floor. I'm confident he finished the game with close to ten boards. Dupree showed off his passing ability as a play-maker. Many of his assists led to easy scores and positive outcomes for the team. Don't be fooled by all the intangibles, Dupree can score the ball too! Whenever he was left alone on the perimeter, Dupree calmly knocked them down. He is a hard-nosed defender who came up with timely blocks and steals. The defensive pressure he applied on opposing players caused numerous turnovers.     Jackson did everything for Indy Hoops 9th Platinum. He played the small forward position like a point forward. Jackson is a great ball handler who facilitates the basketball and gets into the paint. In some instances, he beat his defender off the dribble, drove into the lane and scored at the rim. If the shot wasn't available, he dished off assists to his teammates near the basket or along the perimeter. Jackson also scores in transition and knocks down three-pointers. Some of his threes were converted when he used the dribble to create space. His step-back move allowed him to connect on multiple shots from beyond the arc. Jackson was awesome on the defensive side of the court. He used his length to force turnovers with great on-ball defense. Jackson is a great two-way player who has a promising future ahead of him.
