Preseason Player of the Year: 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2823320' first='Evan' last='Hoffman'] (OABCIG)

OABCIG enters the year as the team to beat in the WVAC, and Hoffman is their top player, making this a pretty straight-forward selection. He controls the painted area on both ends of the floor at a high level for the Falcons.

First Team

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2823320' first='Evan' last='Hoffman'] (OABCIG): 14.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 blocks, 66.2 FG%

Hoffman pairs with [player_tooltip player_id='2420793' first='Jaxx' last='DeJean'] to give OABCIG a dynamic one-two punch of athletic forwards who can dominate the glass on both ends of the floor. He's a highly efficient interior scorer who can also protect the rim at a high level.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2754701' first='Jayden' last='Lloyd'] (Woodbury Central): 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.0 steals

A big-time scoring guard who can impact the game on both ends of the floor with his speed and IQ, Lloyd isn't just a scorer - he's also a talented playmaker who can set his teammates up.

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2886847' first='Ben' last='Holverson'] (West Monona): 15.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals

The leading scorer for the Spartans last season, Holverson uses his 6-2 frame and athleticism to his advantage, bullying his way to the rim for finishes and competing on the glass on both ends.

2026 Easton Nissen (Kingsley-Pierson): 13.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.3 steals

Nissen was second on the team in scoring last season, but he led the team in rebounding, assists, and steals, which is what garnered him the First Team distinction. He impacts the game on nearly every possession with his ability to score or facilitate.

A standout on the gridiron, just like older brother Cooper, Jaxx is also a force on the hardwood who can dominate the glass on both ends of the floor and finish at the rim through contact at a high level.
