The annual Prep Hoops Iowa Expo took place in Des Moines on Saturday afternoon, with approximately 100 players from the sophomore through senior classes taking the floor. Myself, Eliot Clough, and Healey Hill were in attendance throughout the event taking notes on every player in attendance, and we'll have a slew of coverage coming throughout the next week. I was primarily responsible for covering Teams 1, 2, 9, and 10, while Eliot handled Teams 5, 6, and 8, and Healey had Teams 3, 4, and 7.

Brown was one of the top lead guards in the gym on Saturday, in complete command of the offensive attack at all times. He handles the ball really well, has exceptional vision, and does a great job playing with pace and changing speeds to keep his defender off balance. He shoots it at a really high clip off both the dribble and the catch and understands the game at a level rivaled by few in his class.

Seay was a late addition to the event but was a standout throughout 5-on-5 play with his ability to break down the defense and diagnose what was happening. He's a blur with the ball in his hands, getting end-to-end as quickly as anyone in the state, and his compact, strong frame allows him to finish through contact at the bucket.

The sophomore guard is small, listed at 5-7, but he's fearless and quick, looking to constantly attack the painted area off the bounce. He handles it well, is super fast, and can get his teammates involved, keeping his head up while he's attacking to find cutting teammates. On the defensive end, his size could be a detriment, but he makes up for it with his lateral movement and quick hands. He's a two-way guard who should start to make an impact at North this season.

Singh stood out as a teammate who was in constant communication on both ends of the floor, directing his teammates through screens on the defensive end and talking through switches as well as directing traffic on the offensive end. He's good in the mid-range, getting the ball into his shooting pocket quickly off the dribble, and he's a willing passer who sees the floor well.

Another small but quick and talented guard in the gym on Saturday, Galloway stood out with his ability to navigate through tight, congested spaces while keeping his dribble alive. He can split the double on a ball screen and turn the corner to get into the paint, and he's also a solid shooting threat from the 3-point line. Defensively he has quick hands and good lateral movement that he uses to put constant pressure on opposing ball handlers, making them work hard to get anything going against him. That said, perhaps the most impressive aspect of Galloway's showing on Saturday was his willingness to attack the glass on both ends of the floor despite being one of the smallest players in the gym.
