Pocket City Fall League Week 3 Standouts:

Week 3 of the Pocket City Fall League, the premier fall league in Southwest Indiana. Standouts from this week was dominated by the guard and wing spots. Here were the standouts and top performers from Week 3:    Lengthy shooting guard that was really impressive in Week 3 of the Pocket City Fall League. Is combination of length and quickness made him a matchup problem on both ends of the floor. Versatile defender with a high motor was playing passing lanes and rebounding his position well. Offensively he showed his whole offensive arsenal scoring from all three levels. Smooth three-point shooter that can also put it on the floor and rise up over defenders or get all the way to the basket and finish.     Sticky guard that when he gets hot, he's one of the best shooters in the area. Smooth, compact stroke that has good arc. Able to shoot it well off the catch as well as off the dribble. Really good pick and roll player that is aggressive to turn the corner, but looks to make the right play.     Three weeks of the fall league. Three weeks that [player_tooltip player_id='2989713' first='Ashton' last='Rhoades'] has been a standout. The high scoring 6'2” guard from South Spencer is quickly putting himself in the conversation as the best overall scorer in the area. Everything he does is so smooth. Able to score it all over the floor efficiently. He plays with a high motor and defends at a high level. He plays with a bunch of confidence with the ball in his hands. Had a stretch in Game 2 where he got going and seemingly scored every single possession down the stretch. Will have a huge senior season for the Rebels.     Smaller guard with a high IQ that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Plays at his own pace. Really good pushing the ball up the floor in transition playing with his eyes up. In the half court he has a quick first step to get in the lane to facilitate to teammates. Capable three-point shooter, but he is the epitome of what a true point guard is. Defensively he's able to pressure up full court and create chaos in ball handlers. He's scrappy with quick hands when he goes to double team looking to turn defense into offense in a hurry.     Steady true lead guard that plays the game the right way. Hard nosed guard out of Evansville North impacted the game on both ends of the floor. Physical guard that was able to guard multiple positions and not give anything up. He's a quick reacting guard that pressured the ball well all day long. Offensively he was aggressive getting in the lane. He doesn't get sped up with the ball in his hands. He was able to get to any spot on the floor that he wanted . He's able to use his physicality to play through contact and stay on balance on his way to the basket. He's a crafty finisher that's capable of finishing with either hand. Will play a huge role as a junior in a loaded backcourt for the Huskies this season.     The junior guard out of Tecumseh had a stellar two games in Week 3 of the Pocket City Fall League scoring 20 points in Game 1 and 30 points in a win in Game 2. The lead guard was able to impact the game in a variety of different ways. Besides his scoring he was rebounding his position on both ends of the floor with a handful of offensive rebounds throughout the day. He utilizes a plus wingspan on the defensive end to play passing lanes. He controls the tempo so well with the ball in his hands. He was really good again with the push ahead pass in transition. Came out aggressive from the start and got going downhill and it really opened up his three-point shot where he was efficient on the day.
