It is time for our annual Top 50 Prospects Regardless of Class series. We have been doing this since the early years of PHI and it allows us to combine the sophomore, junior, and senior rankings to get an overall view of the talent in the state. Remember these are PROSPECT RANKINGS not necessarily what they will do this high school season. It is a long-term look! Here are prospects #16-#20!

#16 [player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack'] (Benet – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: #27

Stack is the only true seven footer in the state! He is even pushing 7'1” now apparently. The five man from Benet is a big time rim protector that turns away everything that comes near him! In addition to what he does in that respect as a defender he is an excellent rebounder on both ends. Also really like him as a finisher around the hoop with dunks out of the dunker spot, lobs, rim running, and getting put back slams. Excellent hook shot around the cup and has emerged as a plus shooting threat from deep.

#17 [player_tooltip player_id='2376270' first='Semaj' last='Stampley'] (Alton – 2026)

Last Year's Ranking: #44

The Alton scoring guard is a pure bucket! One of the top metro east prospects as he is capable of going for 30+ on any given night. Stampley is a South Dakota State commit who is going to be the leader of an Alton teams with big hopes this season. He can create his own shot with his pull up game along with using his burst and power to get in the paint.

#18 [player_tooltip player_id='2395586' first='Amir' last='Beasley'] (Danville – 2028)

Last Year's Ranking: NR

Beasley is among the most interesting players heading into the season. The long and lanky lefty power forward is an athletic rim protector in the paint that covers so much ground defensively. Offensively he finishes with athleticism around the rim, but also has really improved as a spot up shooter from beyond the arc.

#19 [player_tooltip player_id='2542412' first='Chase' last='Kasten'] (Normal Community – 2028)

Last Year's Ranking: NR

Kasten is a skilled and athletic small forward from central Illinois who keeps getting better every single time we see him! He had an excellent summer and played at a super high level at the Sophomore ID Camp. Plus shot maker that can drain them from anywhere. Crisp handles getting to the rim or into pull up game. Really like the athleticism and instincts he brings on both ends.

#20 [player_tooltip player_id='2125659' first='Kristopher' last='Mporokoso'] (Waubonsie Valley – 2027)

Last Year's Ranking: #23

It is now his team at Waubonsie Valley! The 2027 has played a complimentary role the last few years, but now he will be the go to player for his squad. The silky smooth southpaw can pour it in from the perimeter with his shot off the catch. The handles have improved along with showing off some passing feel we hadn't previously seen.
