[player_tooltip player_id='2334942' first='Deyton' last='Lucas'] (Lutheran South): A 6'8" 2027 forward who has a good blend of size, athleticism and physical toughness. He is a hard matchup because he is also a very capable player on the perimeter, especially when he gets a full head of steam on the drive in the lane. He finishes well with power. He also has a nice spin move in the paint to finish with a little finesse. He will also hit the jumper off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2851681' first='Steven' last='Mejia-valle'] (Bayless): A 6'3" 2027 guard who had an impressive showing as he was delivering buckets from all three levels. He is a smooth shot maker with a diverse bag. He could come off the high ball screen and get downhill on the drive or pull up and hit the jumper. He can attack going left or right with equal effectiveness to score on the drive. He was also hitting open 3-pointers off the catch, especially from the corners.

Liam Dixon (Kirkwood): A 6'8' 2027 forward who is an improving young big. He has a long, lanky frame, but he has good strength and he runs the court very well. He also had some wow moments during the day, particularly on one play when he lifted a defender and drove baseline and threw down a two-handed dunk. That was impressive. He also had a few dunks off rim runs in transition. He also did a good job protecting the rim as he used his length and timing to block numerous shots.

Seth Kirkpatrick lll: A 6'5" 2028 power forward who is a baby bull on the court and he is very effective at it at about 220 pounds. He has a no nonsense game as he gets the ball he is attacking the basket with strength and tenacity. He is a good finisher who doesn't mind playing through contact. He can drive it well and he also sets up shop in the low post where he can catch it and score or grab offensive rebounds for putbacks. He also ran the court well and got a few buckets in transition. He is a young player who bears watching as he continues to develop.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569206' first='Justin' last='Daugherty'] (Kirkwood): A 5'11" 2028 point guard who plays the position in a more traditional way as he looks to distribute the ball first and get his teammates involved. He has a high basketball IQ. He moves at his own pace and he handles pressure well as he uses his strength to keep defenders at bay while keeping the offense flowing. He also has the ability to score when he asserts himself as he can back down a defender or beat him with a quick first step to get into the paint or stop and pop with the jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2051453' first='Tyrique' last='Collins-McIntyre'] (Riverview Gardens): A 5'9" 2026 point guard who is a talented offensive player, but I was really impressed with his defensive prowess during the event. I even pulled him aside and gave him his props for how well he was guarding people. He was disruptive and was turning opposing ball handlers. He even picked a few pockets in the open court. On offense, he used his quickness to penetrate and he made good decisions with the ball. He can also create his own shot off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2536491' first='Kaden' last='Benne'] (Mexico): A 6'3" 2026 shooting guard from Mid Missouri who has good size and impressive range from 3-point territory. He shoots it well off the catch and he also has some nice moves off the dribble to create a shot. He can also knock down the 3-pointer off the step-back. The spin dribble was another good go-to move for him to get a bucket. He also maneuvers himself into the lane and can score with a very nice runner off of one leg.

[player_tooltip player_id='2915292' first='Hank' last='Dillon'] (William Chrisman): A 6'0" 2027 guard who is from the Kansas City area. He made a quick impression on me in the 3-on-3 games when he hit a defender with a hesitation move then pull up and hit a 15 footer along the baseline. He made it look pretty easy. He can also shoot it well from 3-point range. He also attack close outs well with shot fakes to get into the lane. He used the backboard well on the short runner.
