Prep Hoops Missouri was in St Louis for the Lou Next Top 100 Showcase. Here are some evals on a group of shooting guards and wings who caught our attention.

Ke'Air Thomas: A 6'3" guard who was one of the top players in the event. He is a dynamic player at both ends of the court whose motor ran non-stop every minute he was on the court. He is a three level scorer who used his size to go into the low post to get a bucket. He was difficult to stop on the drive and he was tremendous in the open court. He was also able to impact the game with his rebounding and defensive prowess.

Dwight Woodard lll: An athletic 5'10" guard who had one of the quickest first steps of any of the players that I watched. He showed a tremendous burst and then he was in the lane scoring on a layup. He stayed in attack mode throughout the game, whether it was in the halfcourt or in the transition game. He was also a very good rebounder from the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381784' first='Andrew' last='Brueggenjohann']: The 5'11" guard was without a doubt the best perimeter shooter that I watched during the day. His 3-point shooting stroke was so pure, that you were surprised when the ball did not go in the basket. He moves well without the ball, coming off screens and he was always shot ready with a quick release.

Chayel Beatty: A 5'11" guard who is athletic and has a well rounded offensive game. I like he was able to take advantage of mismatches as he took smaller defenders into the low post to score. He can also get a bucket at all three levels. He has a nice fadeaway jumper from the mid-range and he was hitting the open 3-pointer.

Tyson Tucker: A 5'8 guard who is a good athlete and who plays bigger than his actual height with his physical strength and strong motor. He was going inside to post up in the lane and he was also doing an excellent job on the boards. His second and third efforts on offensive rebounds were very good. He was also picking up ball handlers in the backcourt and playing some good on-ball defense.

Benjamin Mayer: A 5'7 guard who can break down a defender with his handles or discard him with his strength on the way to the basket. He also has a nice shooting touch on his runners, which he hit in the lane or along the baseline.

Kellen Nolden: A 6'2" guard with good size and who did a good job of playing within himself. He is a good athlete who was attacking the basket well, but he did it without forcing it or overdribbling. He was distributing the ball well and finding open teammates. His pull up jumper in the mid range was also very effective. He has the size and athleticism to guard multiple positions.

Burke Schultz: A 5'9 guard who does a nice job of playing at his own pace. He was shooting the 3-pointer well off the high ball screen. If the defender had a hand down in his area, he was letting it fly from long distance.

Kaydenn Anderson: A 5'11 guard who is a solid athlete with a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. He is a very good finisher in the transition game and he also dropped some nice dimes off the dribble. His fundamentals were very good.
