Prep Hoops Missouri spent some time watching the action at the final day of the Lou Next Top 100 Showcase, which was held at the Center of St. Louis Sports. The event featured many 100 excellent prospects from the Class of 2030 from around the state. Here are some quick evals on some the point/combo guards who caught our attention during our stay.

Ty Foulk: A 5'9" point guard who comes from a family of good players at the position. His father was a standout point guard in the 1980s and his older brother Will is currently a good one at DeSmet. Ty handles and distributes the ball well and he can really shoot it from long distance. He operates very well with the ball and he can also play off the ball as a scoring threat.

Bryson Jones: A 5'11" combo guard who called "Baby Manu Ginobili" after watching him play. He is an athletic southpaw who was at his best when he was attacking the basket on fearless, acrobatic drives in the lane. He's physically strong and he was really good on the slash with good finishing ability. He also had good bounce to get offensive rebounds in traffic.

Reid Copeland: A 5'6" point guard who really had a strong performance in the game I watched him. He has a solid body and he was able to get into the lane and get buckets on swoops and scoops around the rim. His handles are smooth and he can create his shot off the dribble. He can also shoot it from long distance.

Acee Geddam: A 5'6" combo guard who was one of the best I watched during the day at creating at his own shot. He displayed some electric handles to break down defenders and he could score from all three levels.

CJ Gaines: A 5'3" lefty point guard who has good quickness and crafty handles. His crossover dribble was potent and he did an excellent job of getting himself into the lane to score amongst the taller players in the lane.

Lucas Copeland: A 5'7 point guard who did a good job of handling pressure with his solid handles. His hesi dribble was very effective and he also hit a couple of pull up 3-pointers in transition.

Ja'Mari Hawkins: A 5'0" lefty point guard who is extremely quick and was a blur in the open court with his speed. He did a nice job of changing speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance. He was also pulling up and hitting some long 3-pointers from well beyond the line.

Braydon Brooks: A young combo guard who did a nice job of running the pick and roll offense. He was hitting 3-point shots of the high ball screen and he could also turn the corner to get downhill. He also hit some big shots in close games.

Kyran Mills: A 5'11 combo guard who did an excellent job on the defensive end with his length. He used his quick hands to get steals and deflections. He also distributed the ball well with his good court vision.
