A dynamic threat with the ball in his hands who possesses a dangerous ability to make plays happen, [player_tooltip player_id='2347281' first='Nairi' last='Latham'] shined in his ability to not only be a lethal perimeter shot maker but also in his ability to make good reads and create for others. Latham displayed his ability to be a tough perimeter shot maker off the bounce, with deep range, knocking down tough contested threes with confidence and fluidity. Latham also flashed his decision making ability with a number of passes he made coming off the PnR, when the defense decided to blitz ball screens.

Operating as the primary ball handler for East Orange's offense on the day, [player_tooltip player_id='2201964' first='Elijah' last='Caldwell'] did an excellent job of playing with good poise and demonstrating a strong ability to take care of the ball. East Orange was able to generate a lot of offense in the open floor and Caldwell had a few strong finishes through contact in transition. Caldwell also flashed his ability to knock down outside shots off the catch with some of the time he spent off the ball.

A strong guard who plays with excellent pace and physicality, [player_tooltip player_id='2858268' first='Sean' last='Perrotta'] excelled at putting pressure on the rim. Using his strong frame to absorb and play through contact, Perrotta had a couple of strong finishes at the basket. Perrotta also flashed his perimeter shooting ability from beyond the three point line as a standstill shooter.

The typical engine behind East Orange's offensive success, [player_tooltip player_id='2344534' first='James' last='Roberts'] showed continued improvement of his self creation off the bounce— finding different driving lanes to get to the basket and finish in traffic. Roberts had a number of moments where his expanded scoring versatility was on display— taking advantage of smaller defenders and scoring in the low post, shooting on the move coming off pin downs, and putting pressure on the rim getting to the basket with different change of direction dribbles and finishing strong.

[player_tooltip player_id='2549640' first='Chase' last='Plotkin'] delivered a standout performance that saw him drain movement threes early on, highlighting his ability to be a dangerous shooter on the move. Plotkin impressed with the intangibles he showed as a shooter— sprinting to the corner in transition, smooth footwork coming off screens, not staying stationary and constantly relocating, as well as a quick and high release on his jumper. Plotkin played very well within himself and didn't mind contributing in other categories to aid his team— initiating offense, crashing the glass, being a connective passer, and being vocal on defense. While he shot the ball with accuracy and efficiency on the day from three point range, Plotkin also mixed in a few tough finishes at the rim in transition.
