He showcased the little nuances that set great shooters apart—sprinting to the corner in transition, using smooth footwork off screens, constantly relocating, and getting into his shot with a quick, high release. Plotkin also impressed with ability to impact the game beyond his perimeter shooting—initiating offense, crashing the boards, keeping the ball moving, and bringing energy on the defensive end with his communication.

Plotkin impressed with the intangibles he showed as a shooter— sprinting to the corner in transition, smooth footwork coming off screens, not staying stationary and constantly relocating, as well as a quick and high release on his jumper. Plotkin played very well within himself and didn’t mind contributing in other categories to aid his team— initiating offense, crashing the glass, being a connective passer, and being vocal on defense. While he shot the ball with accuracy and efficiency on the day from three point range, Plotkin also mixed in a few tough finishes at the rim in transition.

As the season went on, Plotkin also showed he’s capable of taking advantage of the way defenses close out on him, putting the ball on the floor and attacking closeouts to get to the rim.
