Schaeffer jumped on our radar this summer as a lead guard who commands the offense and gets his team organized. He competes on both ends, but what we really enjoyed was his ability to be the primary guard. He plays with pace, and knows when to attack or facilitate and that keeps defenses honest. Schaeffer sees the floor well, makes sound reads, and teammates seem to run harder when he has the ball because they know he puts them in the right positions to score as well as being able to get his one. We want to see more for him, but he's shown enough to earn his debut in the rankings.

Caban makes his rankings debut as a confident guard expected to log major varsity minutes this upcoming season. He had a solid summer and we saw him on multiple occasions be able to use his quickness to get downhill and create offense for himself or teammates. Caban appears to be comfortable both on and off the ball as a combo guard. Caban impressed at Colorado Live and the summer showcase as a scorer and lead guard. With added consistency from deep and defensive focus, he has the tools to be a name to know moving forward and looks to be a long-term difference-maker for his program.

Rose has a cool name, but he's got the game to match. He's a smooth guard that we got to see this summer. At the showcase, he separated himself through effort, competitiveness, and toughness on both ends of the floor, and that puts him in a spot to excel at the varsity level. He defends with energy, communicates, and makes hustle plays that change momentum. Offensively, he finds ways to score. Rose's drive and willingness to do the dirty work make him a player to know in this class, and that is why he makes a debut on the rankings.

Warren has a smooth, and composed game and operates confidently as a primary ball handler. The thing that stood out for me when we saw him this summer was the way that he probed the defense, read and handled pressure, and controls tempo while keeping teammates involved. Warren looks to be a three-level scorer with a strong feel for pace, and when we got to see him this summer, it was against some of the top guards in his class. His shot creation and leadership stood out, and with continued growth, he looks poised for a breakout season. He's a player that I feel can make a jump with a solid seaso,n and we hope to see him more.

Skewes impressed this summer with his versatility and interior presence. A mobile big who runs the floor and protects the paint, he alters shots, rebounds with force, and finishes through contact. Offensively, he stretches the floor with a reliable jumper and moves well within the offense. His size and agility give him major upside, and consistency at the varsity level could elevate his stock quickly.
