2025 PrepHoops Oregon Expo – Top Performers Second Team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This year's PrepHoops Oregon Expo took place at The Courts in Beaverton and many of the top in-state players and beyond from the Classes of 2026 and 2027 took the court to compete against one another in some very spirited competition. We had the opportunity to watch the action from start to finish, and after conferring with a number of other observers in attendance have come up with our All-Camp Teams – five members each on the First and Second Team. Used his quick dribble and first step to blow by defenders and finish around the hoop with an advanced layup package. When people played off of him, he simply pulled up and drained long jumpers to keep the defense honest. Didn't just shoot the ball every time either as he also looked to get teammates involved and racked up some assists. The 5-foot-11 La Salle junior was one of the top performers we saw all day. At his best when attacking or spotting up, he knocked down threes consistently when left open. His ability to play above the rim added another great layer to his game. Showed good range with his jumper, was able to create off the dribble, and finished at the rim. Really ran the floor and was devastating as a scorer in transition. The 6-foot-6 forward was on fire from deep, hitting 8 threes total, but scored at all three levels, capably using the dribble to create opportunities for himself in the mid-range. Used his solid build and willingness to be physical to be solid on the boards and with his on-the-ball defense. He runs the lanes effectively, shifts speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance, and can defend multiple positions. Lawson can knock it down from deep 3-point range, attacks off the pick-and-roll, and crashes the boards hard. His versatility and energy made him one of the more impactful guards at the event.
