With Rick Perez returning to Reading as head coach, the Red Knights will be one of the most intriguing teams to watch in all the state. Adams is a towering presence inside the paint on both sides of the ball. He is excellent from the dunker spot, often finishing easy dump-off passes or utilizing a quick post move to score. Currently, his best attribute is as a shot-blocker, where he has multiple blocks every night. Blake is going to thrive under new leadership and should have a great senior year.

Sion has the potential for a breakout year with Central Dauphin, under the direction of a new head coach. He had an excellent summer on the AAU circuit with Central PA Elite, often leading his team in scoring. He had multiple 30-point outings in addition to becoming a better ball handler. Brown excels slashing to the basket. A versatile defender, it will be interesting to see how Sion puts it all together in his senior season.

An already solid player with a great feel for the game, Buhrman seems to play best when the lights are brightest, averaging more points and rebounds per game in the playoffs than the regular season, in addition to shooting a better field goal percentage. Landon has great footwork and looks to play off two feet every time he gets inside the paint. He fights hard on the offensive glass, creating second-chance points for himself or his teammates by kicking it out for an open look. His mid-range game is solid but if he can learn to shoot it from the perimeter consistently, his game will reach another level.

Cornwell is going to have an outstanding year with Chambersburg, who fell to the eventual District 3 6A champs in the semifinals a season ago. He is a do-it-all player with skills all across the board. He can handle the ball and facilitate an offense with confidence and ease. His high efficiency from the perimeter helps with his inside game, as he often gets defenders to bite on his pump-fake. On the defensive side, Colton plays with immense energy and is an amazing charge-taker. Chambersburg is going to have a great chance at a district title this winter.

It will be exciting to watch Easter this winter on a Central Dauphin team that graduated their star guard and also hired a new head coach. Jelani spent every day in the gym over the summer, expanding his already dominant game. He uses his strength and speed to get to the basket and finish with ease. Both his athleticism and energy help to make him a great defender. With a continually improving jumper, Easter will do it all in hopes of getting the Rams back to the District 3 6A championship.

Hayes is coming off an AAU season with Central PA Elite where he did everything required of him on the floor. He has guard skills and can also bang down low against any opposing big man. Josiah is relentless both on the glass and the defensive side of the ball. With an improving 3-point shot, Hayes is going to have a strong senior year, as he will be a key contributor to ELCO competing in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Lay is a very intriguing Mid-Penn prospect. He has the ability to play multiple positions on the floor and can score it from all three levels. Haydn can shoot it from anywhere and plays with physicality in the paint. His handle is continuing to improve, a nice addition to his already high IQ. His length helps to make him a solid defender and shot-blocker. Lay has all the tools to take a big leap for his senior season.

With the graduation of their point-forward, Nicholson is going to take the keys of an Eastern York program that fell short in the District 3 4A final. Bryce is an excellent rebounder who also has a nice post-up game. He has a good jump shot and can knock down 3-pointers at a solid clip. Nicholson has the potential for an immense leap this year.

The Gannon University commit may just be the best true big man in the area, let alone one of the best in the entire state. McKee has excellent footwork and a collection of post moves. More impressive however, is his ability to both handle the ball and shoot it from the perimeter, skills that somebody of his size often lack. Aiden has remarkable timing as a shot-blocker and continues to improve as a guy who can defend on the perimeter. Already over 1,000 career points, McKee aims to get his Warrior Run team back to the District 4 2A championship game.

Schoppy is the defensive anchor for a Susquenita team that finished 13-9 a season ago. He also finished top 3 in the Tri-Valley conference in points, rebounds, and blocks. Ryan thrives blocking shots at the basket. As a continually improving player on the offensive side, the sky is the limit for Schoppy as he looks to lead the Blackhawks to the Tri-Valley playoffs.
