The Minnehaha Academy Redhawks have qualified for the state tournament the last nine straight years. In 2025-26 they go for ten straight. Can anybody stop it from happening?

Super Summary

Can anybody stop the Hawks from getting to state again? I would say a very strong no on that right now. If St. Croix Lutheran had a veteran team THIS season instead of last season maybe, but it's going to take a veteran group of talent to stop the Hawks.

Minnehaha could start junior [player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'], 8th grader [player_tooltip player_id='2419994' first='Carter' last='Cupito'], senior Malachi Snell, junior [player_tooltip player_id='2436914' first='Kellen' last='Troup'] and freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2916849' first='Mekhi' last='Abner']. Despite only one senior with experience the Hawks just have so much more talent than any potential competitor, and if they mature as well as gel together, this is as wide open as Class AA has been in a long time. Anybody can bring home gold.

But let's say somebody knocked off Minnehaha, who would it be? I would look first to St. Croix Prep, second to St. Paul Academy and to be honest after that, I would likely stop looking. I really like the combo that St. Croix Prep has in Logan Eiselt and [player_tooltip player_id='2708051' first='Ali' last='Akram'] back from a team that won 17 games. That said, they are only three rotation guys back from last year so depth needs to be built.

The team with the most returning is St. Paul Academy who has four double figure scorers back from the rotation and they are led by a standout in [player_tooltip player_id='1858796' first='Ezra' last='Cunningham']. My problem there is, SPA was seven games under .500 last year and they lost to Minnehaha by 34 points last season, TWICE.
