Next up in our rankings coverage for the Class of 2027 are the Centers.

The top overall spot at the Center position is held by Cushing Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='2470882' first='Theo' last='Edema'] (#2). One of the top big men in the country, Edema is a two-way workhorse in the paint. One could argue that no prospect has improved as much over the last two years as he has. He's an elite finisher around the rim, is a terrific rim runner in transition, can single-handedly control the glass, and is a high level rim protector.

Mark, a center out of Cushing Academy, checks in at #16 overall and #4 among the centers. Mark is a true 7-footer that presents as a mismatch with his inside/out skillset. He has the ability to operate as a roller or pop guy out of ball screens, does a nice job of sealing and holding space on the block, and has great touch as a finisher around the rim. He's a fluid athlete that has done a good job of adding strength over the last 12 months. Defensively, he covers a lot of ground with his long strides and plus wingpsan and has the ability to protect the rim at a high level.

Wafo, a center out of CATS Academy, checks in at #34 overall and #7 among the centers. Wafo is a throwback big that lives in and dominates the paint. His hands continue to improve, he has the ability to turn over either shoulder as a scorer, and he's a serious lob threat off of drives. He sets solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and is terrific running the floor in transition. On the other end, he is a high level shot blocker that shows good timing and instincts and knows how to use his length to his advantage to block, or alter, a high number of shots.

Sutton, a center out of Stamford High School, checks in at #47 overall and #11 among the centers. Sutton, now pushing 6'11", has great positional size and a motor that seems to be improving with each passing month. He has the physical tools needed to be a high level defender, with the length to protect the rim and the strength to control the glass. He's a solid rim runner that has a huge catch radius. He does a nice job of setting solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and has the ability to finish with power or touch around the rim. He's even showing signs of developing his face up game.

Ash, a center out of the St. Andrew's School, checks in at #83 overall and #14 among the centers. Ash is a long and lean 7-footer that moves well in space, understands how to use his size to his advantage, and is a good mover along the baseline offensively. He's capable of operating as a hard roller in ball screens, shows the ability to put the ball on the floor from the perimeter, and is consistently improving his ability to play and finish through contact around the rim. Defensively, he has the ability to protect the rim, to defend ball screens in a variety of ways, and even shows some lateral mobility when guarding on the perimeter.

Saas, a center out of Tabor Academy, checks in at #112 overall and #16 among the centers. Saas should benefit greatly from the additional year he'll get after reclassifying at Tabor, as the young big is rapidly growing into his frame and his game. He has a solid build and looks at though he could continue to add muscle mass to his frame. He isn't afraid to be physical in the paint, does a nice job of rebounding in and out of his area, and is a quality rim protector. On the other end of the floor, he does a great job of running in transition, rolls hard to the rim out of ball screens, and moves well off of drives, which sets up his finishing around the basket.
