Purple Team - Toledo Top 64 Preview

The Toledo Top 64 is back for its 3rd consecutive year, and this will be the preview of the Purple team at this event!   This purple team is a nice mix squad. They have an interesting prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='2873990' first='Calvin' last='Willow'], but then he is surrounded by some veteran and high-IQ point guards. Witcher could be the X factor for this team. Then they have some nice wing and guard play as well that could end up scoring a plethora of points together.     Willow is a 6'10 big and one of the top prospects in the event. He has an incredibly high ceiling with his size and athletic ability. He moves super well for his frame and shows flashes of being a dominant player on both ends. Still raw, but he has a ton of unteachable traits that make him a really exciting long-term prospect.     Addy is a poised and veteran point guard who plays the role of floor general at a high level. He's quick with the ball, has a great handle, and always keeps his head up to make the right play. He's the type of player you want running your offense because of his leadership and ability to control the tempo. Addy's presence on the court instantly makes his team better.     Priddy is a pure scorer who can put the ball in the basket however you want it. He's dangerous at all three levels — off the dribble, pull-up, catch-and-shoot, or even off balance. It doesn't matter, Priddy finds ways to score. He's the type of player who can create instant offense and completely change a game with his scoring ability.     Flenoury is a skilled scoring guard who can fill it up from anywhere on the floor. He's quick out of the triple threat, able to attack in either direction, and has a soft touch with floaters in the lane. What really makes him dangerous is his ability to stretch the floor — he's comfortable pulling up from deep and doesn't need much space to get his shot off. Flenoury has the tools to take over games offensively, and this event will be a big stage for him to showcase that scoring ability.     Witcher is a tough, physical player who brings a big impact despite being a smaller power forward. He wears opponents down with his strength and effort, and he knows how to score it inside. With his high motor and ability to play through contact, he's a difficult matchup. It will be interesting to see how his game continues to develop when he expands to playing inside and out.     Pamer is a dog and a true hooper. He's not flashy, but he plays the game the right way and makes very few mistakes. What makes him so tough is how quietly he racks up points — one possession at a time until you realize he has 20-plus. He's consistent, efficient, and always puts his team in a position to win.     Jefferson is a smaller guard but a highly skilled one. He can score it well from all areas of the floor and has the creativity to make plays in tight spaces. A crafty scorer with confidence, Jefferson is the type of guard who can get hot quickly and make a big impact in an event setting like this.     Ewers is a strong athlete who plays the game the right way and competes with toughness. He's known for his high motor and the way he locks down opposing ball handlers. Defensively, he's relentless, and that energy carries over to everything he does.
