Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp - Team 12 Evaluations

Our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp is a newer addition to our event lineup, but it has immediately grown into a massive success. This year 120+ of the state's best Class of 2028 prospects came to receive updated evaluations from our scouting department. We were incredibly happy with the level of talent in attendance for this great event. Let's dive on in and take a look at our evaluations of the prospects that made up Team 12 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.   ***Editor's Note: in the event that we missed a prospect or you notice something wrong with your profile please contact Brandon Ramsey at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com and we will work to quickly remedy the mistake.***    Shifty lead guard that was impressive offensively at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The 5'10” Guard out of Manchester showcased a smooth offensive arsenal in the half court. Operated the pick and roll with command and confidence. Good three point shooter that took advantage of his opportunities. Was able to get in the lane and create shots for himself as well as his teammates. Scrappy defender that competes on the defensive end.     High energy guard out of University that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Defensively he pressured full court and did a good job staying down in a stance and keeping his man in front of him. He was vocal with his teammates and rebounded his position well. Offensively he was a strong ball handler that balanced scoring and facilitating. Good three point shooter with a quick release that was able to get his shot off even when contested.     [player_tooltip player_id='2560373' first='Jake' last='Rose'] is a high IQ combo guard from Linton-Stockton that is a big time shot maker. Smooth release with deep range from three. Comfortable off the dribble or running off screens. Excellent cutter off the ball. On the ball, he has the ability to get in the lane and take contact while staying on balance and finishing. Unselfish guard with good court vision that can make any type of pass on the floor.     High energy guard that impacted the game on both ends with his intensity. Really good defender with active hands and quick feet. Vocal on the defensive end and seemed to be in the right spot at all times. Offensively he cuts off the ball with good timing and with a purpose. With the ball in his hands he was able to get in the lane and finish in a variety of different ways.     Named one of the top performers, 6'4” Wing Chance Derossett of Snider had the full offensive arsenal on full display at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Smooth, athletic left-handed wing is a big time scorer that does it from all over the floor. Confident shooter with deep range and once he sees the ball go through the basket he's tough to stop. Was able to get to the rim at will where he finished above the rim several times. Versatile defender with length was aggressive in passing lanes looking to turn defense to offense.     Skilled 6'2” Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2362618' first='Emoni' last='Lewis'] was making plays all over the floor at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. The Pike High School Product consistently got downhill and made some athletic finishes around the basket. Quick first step and a tight handle got him to his spot. Defensively he was able to guard multiple positions due to his length and athleticism. Was aggressive in the passing lanes looking to take advantage of mistakes. Also was a strong rebounder that did a good job with advancing by the pass with open teammates ahead.     Athletic 6'3” Wing [player_tooltip player_id='2958934' first='DeAndre' last='Leonard'] out of Pike High School showed his skill set at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Wing defender that can guard multiple positions used his length and quickness to create turnovers. Also a good defensive rebounder that could lead the break and finish at the other end in a variety of different ways. Offensively he was active. Good cutter off the ball that could finish plays through contact. Drove close outs aggressively going right and showed he can stop on a dime and rise up with touch in the midrange.     High potential wing with inside-out skills who was one of the more intriguing players I saw at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Catch and shoot threat from the perimeter. Showed the ability to drive close outs and finish with either hand at the basket. Good decision maker off the bounce that looks to make the right read and can really pass. Another versatile defender that can guard all over the floor. Good fundamental defender that finished plays with hard block outs and rebounded strong with two hands.     High motor wing with length and athleticism that can turn defense into offense in a hurry. Versatile defender that guards multiple positions pressures the ball with active hands and quick feet making it tough. Has the ability to alter/block shots at the rim with his length. Good rebounder that can lead the break and make good decisions with the ball. Offensively he's aggressive getting to the basket using his solid frame to play through contact and finish in a variety of different ways.     Physical forward out of Warsaw, [player_tooltip player_id='2951853' first='Gabriel' last='Ioane'] showed his versatility on both ends of the floor. Smooth inside-out offensive skill set that scored in a variety of different ways. Strong post option with good footwork and ability to score with either hand. Sets good screens and was a good roll option and showed he can pop on the screen and hit shots out to the three-point line. His defensive versatility really stood out. Switchable defender that moves well. Does a really good job contesting shots and finishing possessions as a solid rebounder.
