He may be listed as a freshman and may be just 14 years old, but you would never know it from the poise and maturity that Miller exudes on the court. Coming off the bench for Holy Cross as he adjusts to the high school game, he was an immediate calming influence with his on-ball polish and cerebral decisionmaking in the pick-and-roll. Miller never forced the issue, making his presence known at all times while still letting things come to him. When not making plays with the ball in his hands, he impressed with his ability to slide off-ball and knock down shots efficiently from the perimeter. With a precocious skill level and feel along with length to grow into over time, Miller seems like one we'll be hearing from a lot in the years to come with only a matter of time before he begins sorting through D1 offers.

Bey wasted no time stepping in as a key piece to the Vikings lineup as a freshman before an injury ended his season prematurely. Now healthy and equipped with experience under his belt, the physical and cerebral scoring guard looks ready to step into a role as a consistent focal point. Despite having just turned 15 in the spring, Bey has a maturity to his body and game that belies his years. In an overtime win on Saturday, he showed his polished shotmaking ability both off the catch and popping off the ground to elevate into his pullup. He shows a blend of skill, physicality, and feel as a driver while also using his strength and IQ to make plays on the defensive end. Bey looks ready to be a fixture in the CHSAA for years to come with D1 recruitment likely soon to follow.

After making an instant splash in the state last year at since-closed Immaculate Conception, Sincere-AmenRa has wasted no time acclimating to his new surroundings, blending in seamlessly and standing out as a leader in a dynamic multi-pronged guard attack. Traditionally more of a lead guard, he looks ripe to thrive in a true combo role this season, showing on Saturday his ability to score efficiently while playing off his backcourt mates and also making plays as a secondary ballhandler when called upon. Sincere-AmenRa boasts a confident and polished jump shot, shooting a gorgeous ball off the catch and in the pullup game. His skill level as a ballhandler and finisher is apparent as well. He's likely to have to transition back to a true PG role at the next level, but looks comfortable in his current setting with a role that allows him to get loose as a scorer.

Another key piece of the Pirates' multifaceted backcourt looks to be McCray, a precociously-skilled freshman whose game quickly surpasses the eye test. Tipping the scales at just 135 pounds soaking wet, what the precocious southpaw lacks in physicality he more than makes up for in skill, confidence, and IQ. On Saturday he toggled seamlessly between responsibilities both on and off the ball, weaving through traffic with his silky handle before finishing with touch or spraying out to a shooter, then sliding off-ball as a dynamic quick-release threat from the perimeter off the catch. His long-term upside depends at least somewhat on how he progresses physically in the years to come, but McCray has established a clear foundation that should make him a known commodity across the state before too long.

It took some time for Bosco to adapt to life without Dylan Harper, the All-American and recent lottery pick who carried the Ironmen for the better part of four years, but the program looks to be in good hands with the presence of Lewis in the backcourt. A fellow southpaw with a similar slo-mo pace as his predecessor, Lewis made an instant splash as a freshman starter but looks notably more mature with a year of growth and experience under his belt. Having sprouted a bit and started to add some strength, he impressed on Saturday while gliding to his spots with the ball, primarily as a setup man for others. Lewis remained a threat to score himself, knocking down a quartet of 3's while displaying a textbook compact stroke. His pace and skill level should catch the eye of coaches at the D1 level sooner than later.

The most impactful freshman in the CHSAA last year, Wilson announced himself city-wide as one of the most imposing frontcourt forces around, regardless of class. He stuck to his bread and butter on Saturday, getting off to a slow start but imposing his will in the second half with his blend of touch and athleticism around the basket. The rangy forward has a knack for working into crevices of space inside for opportunistic finishes, showcasing quick jumps and impressive dexterity that will be key in translating to the next level. With the athletic fluidity and flashes of skill to potentially progress out to the wing over time, Wilson brings a blend of floor and ceiling as a prospect that should put him on the radar of mid-to-high major coaches in years to come.
