Coleman was solid as a sophomore for Des Moines North last season, averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds on 76% shooting, and he looked really good throughout the summer playing with Roosevelt. A mobile, long 6-8/6-9 big man who can run the floor, protect the paint, and finish effectively around the rim, he'll give the Roughriders a type of size, length, and athleticism that is tough to contend with.

A 6-5/6-6 big man with length and athleticism, Kolee played sparingly as a sophomore on the Maroons varsity roster, but he should step into a much larger role as a junior. He's a mobile, versatile defender who can switch on the perimeter or protect the rim.

2027 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2419814' first='Thomas' last='DeWall'] (Indianola)

DeWall started 21 of 22 games as a sophomore for Indianola, but didn't put up big numbers, averaging 2.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He should see his numbers skyrocket as a junior stepping into the primary ball-handling role for the Indians. He posted an incredibly impressive 3.2 assist-to-turnover ratio last season.

2028 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2478747' first='Nash' last='Kooken'] (Waukee Northwest)

Few players in the state had a better summer than Kooken, who picked up early offers from Arizona State and Oregon. He played some varsity minutes last season, averaging 2.8 points on 60-44 shooting, but after his huge summer and following the graduations of the Wolves' top two scorers, he could step into a big role as a sophomore. He shoots it really, really well off both the dribble and the catch, and he can create quality looks for his teammates off the dribble.

2028 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2523915' first='Nolan' last='Runge'] (Linn-Mar)

Runge didn't get any varsity run last season for the Lions, but following the losses of four of the top five scorers from last year's team, expect him to see some real minutes as a sophomore. He can score from all three levels, create plays off the dribble, and is a solid on-ball defender.
