AAU is over with and a few school districts are already back in session for the 25-26 school year. Coming out of the summer, there have been a few Sophomores who have picked up their first D1 offers in the last 6 weeks or so. Here's a look at a few "under the radar" 2028s that have the potential to break out in a big way this season.

Farmer played in every game as a Freshman for Corbin but relocated to Lexington this summer. One of the better drivers in the 13th region last year, Dawson should do well at LCA with shooters like [player_tooltip player_id='2400700' first='Caleb' last='Marshall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2400692' first='Chase' last='Bentley'] on the perimeter who can catch and shoot at a high rate. Look for Dawson to be an immediate impact player in the 11th region.

Staying in the 43rd district, Ben Warren is likely the starting point guard for a pretty young Catholic roster this season. Warren didn't have the greatest shooting season as a Freshman but he doesn't need to do a whole lot more than orchestrate the offense for the Knights. A strong and physical guard, Ben is capable of getting multiple paint touches per half to help the Catholic offense thrive.

East Jessamine is about to be very young this season but could be a sleeper by February as their young players develop. Wolfe and [player_tooltip player_id='2450182' first='Tyson' last='Duke'] are the primary returning players for a Jaguar roster that is going to be relatively inexperienced when the season tips off. As a Sophomore, Wolfe is going to need to be more aggressive attacking the paint and getting into the paint. He only got to the free throw line 20 times last year but Carter will see big upticks in all his stats if he can get into the paint and finish through contact.

Washington had a strong summer for Great Crossing as their roster is young and will need the Sophomore class to be ready to contribute this season. While he didn't play varsity last season, Jesse was a starter for the Warhawks this summer. He's got a good frame that can absorb contact on drives. The three point shot hasn't been super consistent yet for Washington but he's got time to sort that out. For his team to remain relevant in the 11th region, Jesse will need to be ready for a major role, right away.
