Here is the returning talent that will be taking the court this year for teams in Section 8AAAA. You can see some teams have so much that good players aren't making the list, and for others we have to sneak into last year's JV to fill out a top three!

Alexandria

[player_tooltip player_id='2118449' first='Mason' last='Witt'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']). A D2 offered guard that scored nearly 21 points a game last season for the state champs shooting over 46 percent from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2118495' first='Talan' last='Witt'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']). Witt scored 13 points a game last year shooting 45 percent from the arc and he had a monster 17u season earning five D2 scholarship offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115657' first='Gavin' last='Roderick'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']). Gavin averaged 11 points a game as the four double figure scorer for the Class AAA state champs!

The D2 offered guard scored nearly 27 points a game and we think he could lead Bemidji as an outside candidate as a top ten back end team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2175436' first='Austin' last='Riewer'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']). Riewer scored nearly 15 points a game as a junior and should move into double-double categories regularly after a good 17u season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2833323' first='Luke' last='Merseth'] (2028). Luke is the only other rotational player back from the Brainerd, he was their 8th man a season ago. Should step into a much bigger role as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='2860822' first='Blake' last='Fenstad'] (2027). When Branierd went nine deep, or had an injury, Blake stepped in to play varsity time. Plus the then sophomore played on JV as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417305' first='Romeo' last='Kromah'] (2028, [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United']). One of the top players at 15u last year, Romeo scored six plus points a game on a state team as a frosh. And should have a big role this winter.
