PrepHoops Ohio Freshman Showcase – Team 5

He is a physical player who does not get bumped off his line when driving to the rim. He is also a great vertical athlete and showed this with a powerful half-court dunk. He was always finishing towards the rim. He is best in the open court and transition game. This is when he made his best plays of the day, including a nasty behind-the-back move that led to a difficult layup in traffic. He is explosive around the rim and always finishes towards the rim. He was one of the most explosive and vertical players in the event with powerful finishes. He had some efficient moves to blow by defenders all day as well. He had multiple combinations of moves that got the defense sliding around and off balance. He is a quick guard who knows how to make defenders flip their hips. My favorite thing about his game is that he was in 2 games that came down to the wire, and he made game-winning plays in both of them. He found it at the start of the second game of the day, and this is where his skill set really shone. He has good height right now; I expect him to grow. He has good length and knows how to get to where he wants on the court with the ball in his hand. He has a good shot on him and can get to the basket. He has good footwork and foot movement. He plays with a level of aggression and urgency. He has a nice back-to-the-basket game but can step out and stretch the floor as well.
