Prep Hoops Indiana "The Expo" - 8 Prospects to Watch, Part 2

We are almost exactly one month out from “The Expo” which is our annual showcase for rising juniors and seniors. This event is one that we work very hard on to get college coaches in the door. However, regardless of who is in the gym, we will have written evaluations of every prospect in attendance on our website which will be seen by hundreds of college programs across all levels. If you are serious about wanting to play college basketball this is a must-attend fall showcase and one of the few that will be worth your money. Here are eight prospects that have already signed up that we know coaches will want to get their eyes on. Last season he averaged 5.9 points per game as a sophomore and connected on a team-leading 38 three-point shots. "The Expo" will allow our team of scouts a first look at the developing guard as he enters his junior season for what should be a young and emerging Hornets team.     Garner caught our attention several times over the spring and summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit with Indiana Reign Supreme. The versatile 6'2" wing can stretch the floor as a catch-and-shoot threat while also acting as a secondary playmaker off of the bounce. His length and sneaky athleticism allow him to finish at the end of his drives as well. We look forward to seeing him at "The Expo."     College coaches will want to get in the door to see this 6'3" guard from Roncalli High School at "The Expo." Kesler had a lot of success on the UA Rise Circuit with the Indiana Jammers in the spring and summer and looks to be a go-to piece for the Royals once again as a senior. Last season, Kesler averaged 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.     On our trip out to Rock Hill, South Carolina to watch the 3SSB Championships we had the opportunity to see Lake quite a bit for Hoopmatics. The 6'6" forward/center played very well throughout the event against a very high level of competition. He has soft hands around the basket, rebounds well on both ends, and can hold his own in the post defensively. Small college programs should get out to see Lake at "The Expo."     Anytime you find a prospect with this level of height and shooting ability it will catch your attention. Partenheimer, a rising junior standout at Forest Park High School, is 6'8" and very comfortable out on the perimeter as a shooting threat. However, he really impressed us with his interior game at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June as well. He is definitely one that college programs should start recruiting during his junior season.     An under-the-radar prospect down in southern Indiana at West Washington High School, this 5'11" guard averaged 14.1 points per game as a sophomore. He is a versatile guard that is very capable of playing both on and off of the ball. We are excited to get a deeper evaluation of Russell on September 20th when he participates in "The Expo."     We had the chance to see Sahm play a couple of times over the course of the spring and summer with Indiana Basketball Club, but we are definitely excited to get a more in-depth evaluation at "The Expo." The 6'2" guard from Bishop Chatard has a smooth outside shooting stroke and consistently puts pressure on opposing defenses from the perimeter.     Tarvin was a consistent to performer on the Grizzly Cubs junior varsity team last season as a sophomore and will now look to carve out a role in the backcourt at the varsity level as a junior. The 5'7" guard is a fearless driver and is a creative finisher against size. His two-way tenacity will help him overcome what he may lack in physical size. We are excited to have him at "The Expo."
