Hoop Group Future All American Camp: Additional NJ Standouts

The Hoop Group Future All-American Camp ranks among the top grassroots basketball events in the nation, drawing elite underclassmen from across the Northeast. Renowned for its intense competition and elite-level instruction, the camp has long been a stepping stone for rising high school and college stars. This year, New Jersey prospects made a strong impact, displaying a mix of skill, athleticism, and basketball IQ that clearly set them apart. Their standout performances in live game settings reinforced New Jersey's reputation as a breeding ground for emerging talent. With a field that also featured some impressive rising eighth graders, let's take a closer look at a few standout freshmen and sophomores from last week's action at East Stroudsburg University.    Stringing together impressive scoring performances, [player_tooltip player_id='2504780' first='Infinite' last='Sincere'] showcased the different ways he can create off the bounce and score from multiple levels— creative mid range shot making off the bounce, perimeter catch and shoot threes, and getting downhill out of ball screens. Sincere looked extremely comfortable and poised on the ball as a self creator showcasing his scoring prowess breaking his defender down and finishing with craftiness around the basket and consistently knocking down tough shots from different areas on the court.     A keen floor general with excellent feel for the game and elite court vision, [player_tooltip player_id='2504904' first='Izayah' last='Cooper'] showcased phenomenal instincts as a facilitator. Consistently playing with his head up and seeing the open floor combined with sharp timing as a passer, Cooper demonstrated his advanced ability to create open looks for his teammates. Combined with his playmaking ability, Cooper also showcased his ability to be a dangerous threat from the perimeter— knocking down open looks from three point range. Quick with the ball in his hands, Cooper also generated an array of paint touches.     Will Brunson impressed with his ability to self create off the dribble and score the basketball from multiple levels— showcasing his versatility as a perimeter shot maker off the catch with deep range and off the dribble coming off ball screens while also getting in the paint and finishing through traffic and even getting to his in between game with smooth pull ups and floaters. Brunson also showcased his activity on the defensive end of the floor using his length to be disruptive not only pressuring the ball and forcing turnovers but also as a shot blocker.     [player_tooltip player_id='2628237' first='Ibrahima' last='Cisse'] showed flashes of his intriguing and improving offensive skillset. Cisse demonstrated his ability to catch and finish in the painted area, showed solid touch on his jump shot from the perimeter and the mid range area, consistently crashed the offensive glass generating extra possessions, his face up game out of the mid post, and his ability to catch lobs and finish above the rim. Cisse also showed excellent mobility and fluidity at his size.     [player_tooltip player_id='2763616' first='Abdullah' last='Parramore'] impressed as a facilitator and a decision maker handling the basketball and running offense for his team. Parramore made the right reads particularly out of the pick and roll— hitting rollers on time and spraying out to open shooters. Parramore also did a good job of hitting open cutters when attacking the gaps off the dribble. Parramore played with great and infectious energy as a defender consistently pressuring the ball the length of the floor and being disruptive at the point of attack.     A crafty left handed floor general, [player_tooltip player_id='2782185' first='Anthony' last='Blackmon'] displayed his ability to get in the paint off the bounce and finish with finesse around the basket— mixing it up with tough inside and outside finishes between both hands. Blackmon also demonstrated his ability to effect the game from the perimeter and be a threat from three point range as a shot maker off the catch. Blackmon also shined on the defensive end consistently pressuring the ball against opposing ball handlers.     Ultra creative off the dribble, Shacore Myatt displayed his creativity off the bounce breaking his defender down off the dribble, using an array of different dribble combo moves to get downhill and finish with craftiness around the basket. Myatt showed that when he played under control and with good pace he can be smooth off the bounce and be a confident and effective microwave scorer.
