1.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413531' first='Cael' last='LaFrentz'] (Decorah) -- 29.2 points per game

The nearly 7-footer was absolutely dominant as a junior for the Vikings, leading 3A in scoring and controlling the glass on both ends of the floor. The son of former NBAer Raef LaFrentz is a mobile, long, skilled two-way player who protects the paint, finishes at the rim, and is a really good free-throw shooter for a young big man of his size.

2.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1978130' first='Hudson' last='Lorensen'] (ADM) -- 24.3

Lorensen is one of the most effortless scorers in the state, a smooth lefty who lets the game come to him and doesn't force anything. He's incredibly efficient, posting 54-42-88 shooting splits, and he continues to improve as a playmaker off the dribble for his teammates.

3.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765515' first='Jaidyn' last='Coon'] (Storm Lake) -- 23.9

The 6-7 Creighton commit is a fantastic athlete who can score from all three levels. Coming off another great summer with D1 Minnesota, he committed to play for the Bluejays, where he'll give them some serious athleticism, length, and two-way dominance. He averaged 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game in addition to his scoring while leading the Tornadoes to a state tournament appearance.

4.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413548' first='Nolan' last='Ehlinger'] (Maquoketa) -- 21.8

A talented 6-0 guard who can score in bunches, Ehlinger can fill it up from all three levels, but is at his best when he's playing downhill and putting constant pressure on opposing defenders. He's an active defender who also averaged 2.5 steals per game, turning defense into offense.

5.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2731635' first='Malachi' last='Rice'] (Centerville) -- 21.6

A quick, athletic guard who uses his speed to his advantage on both ends of the floor, Rice gets to the free-throw line routinely and is a pest on the defensive end, averaging 4.4 steals per game.

6.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2731814' first='Brady' last='Harr'] (Hampton-Dumont-CAL) -- 17.5

A 6-7 big man, Harr was a walking double-double last season for the Bulldogs, pulling down 13.1 rebounds, to go with 4.2 assists and 2.4 blocks per game, showcasing his ability to control the game on both ends of the floor.

7.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2731820' first='Dallas' last='McDowell'] (Harlan) -- 17.3

McDowell, a 6-2 wing, posted 43-38-76 shooting splits as a junior, leading the Cyclones in scoring, assists (3.3), and steals (1.5). He shoots it well off both the dribble and the catch and is a skilled playmaker off the bounce.

8.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1765542' first='Preston' last='Stensland'] (Gilbert) -- 17.0

Stensland is one of the toughest matchups in the class, a 6-4 wing who can score from anywhere on the floor. He's incredibly efficient, shooting 52.7% from the floor, 38.5% from the 3-point line, and 85.9% from the charity stripe. His size, ability to create off the dribble, and IQ make him extremely difficult for teams to slow down.

9.) 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2231637' first='Lincoln' last='Norris'] (Knoxville) -- 16.9

Norris is one of the state's elite shooters, knocking down 103 3-pointers last season and doing so at a 42.0% clip. He has unlimited range, a lightning-quick release, and moves really well without the ball in his hands.

10.) 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2413532' first='Kellen' last='Haverback'] (Mount Vernon) -- 16.7

The 6-2 Haverback enjoyed a breakout junior year, stuffing the stat sheet on both ends of the floor for the Mustangs. He averaged 5.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in addition to his scoring. He'll be the focal point of the Mount Vernon attack as a senior.
