The second-ever PrepHoops Oregon Sophomore ID Camp took place on Sunday afternoon and many of the state's top returning sophomores were at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA for some high-level competition. This week, we take a look at our scouting notes for each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent player-by-player. Here's a look at Team One:

[player_tooltip player_id='2737314' first='Emmett' last='Lee'] (2028 Westside Christian) - Versatile combo guard played solid team-oriented basketball the entire event. The 5-foot-8 guard looked to set up his teammates first before looking at the basket for himself, and capably handled ball pressure with his dribble. Lee gave good energy on the defensive end too.

Ambrose Gardner (2028 Mt Zion-GA) - The lone participant from outside of the Pacific Northwest, Gardner was solid on Sunday. The 6-foot combo guard showcased himself as a nice all-around player, able to get to the basket and finish as well as capably hit open jumpers. He was particularly good in transition and getting buckets over bigger defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='2509763' first='Jason' last='Huddleston'] (2028 Corvallis) - Hard-working guard from Corvallis had a motor that seemingly never ended. The 5-foot-10 guard was always moving without the basketball on the offensive end, getting some bonus baskets in the process by being in the right place at the right time, and was always focused on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2919356' first='Ariston' last='Mey'] (2028 Milwaukie) - Milwaukie sophomore was more than content to play team ball during the full court runs, getting the ball up teammates in transition and focus on the defensive end but showed off his shooting skills in the 3x3 competition. The 5-foot-10 guard has a smooth shooting stroke past the three-point line and was capable of using the dribble to free himself up to get off his shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2949140' first='Jaxon' last='Ivey'] (2028 Aloha) - Long, lanky, and still growing into his body at 5-foot-11, the son of former pro basketball player and Valley Catholic head coach showed flashes of skill. He shot the ball well from the perimeter, was able to get to the hoop effectively, and was competitive overall on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539770' first='Dau' last='Hong'] (2028 Gresham) - One word comes to mind with the play of Hong on Sunday - efficient. The Gresham guard simply made great decisions with the basketball when he had it in his hands, taking what the defensive gave him whether it was the open perimeter look, the drive, or the kick-out to a more open teammate. In both games we watched he took - and made - the high percentage shot without forcing the issue.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388707' first='Jamarian' last='Hurley'] (2028 Aloha) - Lefty combo guard made his living at the event by have the mentality on getting downhill on almost every posession. The Aloha sophomore was able to get by his man with a quick first step and had good success making shots over help defenders at the hoop or finishing through contact. He knocked down an open three to keep the defense honest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539806' first='Sufyan' last='Carter'] (2028 Wells) - Carter was super aggressive offensively, looking to attack the basket whenever he got the chance where he could use his quickness and athleticism to not only get into the lane but finish at the basket in creative ways. The Wells sophomore, who also hit some threes, is extremely skilled and talented with his ball-handling and passing and on defense, has the ability to really play the passing lanes well and create turnovers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2451611' first='Mason' last='Lupton'] (2028 South Medford) - One of the finds for us at the event, Lupton ranked as one of the top scorers at the event. The 6-foot-2ish wing/forward's points largely came from his relentless style of play where he was always looking to get to the hoop and scoring over or through defenders, often absorbing all sorts of contact. The South Medford sophomore didn't have a ball-hog mentality either as he showed off some deft passing skills and he was a force on the boards too.
