Prep Hoops National Open Championship: 5 2027 Players to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This weekend, Prep Hoops Indiana will be hosting the National Open Championship at both the Pacers Athletic Center and The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse 7/18-7/20. This will arguably be our most loaded event of the summer as this will feature some of the top teams in the state of Indiana including [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'], Indiana Basketball Club, teams from the Indiana Elite program, and many more. There will also be teams from out of the state from Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, and many other locations. To top this all off, this will also be a NCAA Certified event so there is expected to be a strong college coach presence, as well. He is one of the best catch-and-shoot threats in the state and is capable of being a legit microwave scorer. Kern has shown a lot of good things over the spring/summer as he heads into his junior season at Bedford. A guy that can do a little bit of everything in the backcourt, he plays with a tough motor and has quickness both on and off the ball. At 6'2, Garner is a hybrid wing/forward with his ability to play both inside and out at any time. He is a strong rebounder that uses his lanky frame well on the boards as well as on the defensive end. Before we get to the high school season however, we will get a chance to see Walker this weekend for Indiana Basketball Cub 2026. Listed at 6'4, Walker can make plays at all levels of the floor and does so with high athleticism. Production is the main thing for Auler as he is a capable scorer that can put up a lot of points. He is a smart player that seemingly knows all the spots on the floor and can be a guard that you can trust to make a play when he has the ball in his hands.
