A few of the top players in New Mexico traveled to Colorado this past weekend. He started off each game by making sure his teammates were getting in rhythm and staying involved. He seemed to always know the right time to take over the ball game. Trujillo scored from all three levels and nobody was able to slow him down.

Lucero put together a very solid tournament. He was able to light up the defense from beyond the arc on Saturday! The combo guard did a great job getting out in transition. He was able to get some nice looks from the corner by leading his team on a few fast breaks. Jeremiah displayed how great of a teammate he is by laying out on the floor for multiple 50/50 plays as well.

Satchivi stood out as a slasher during his time in Denver. His ability to blow right past his defender with his quick first step was on display all weekend. Satchivi did a great job getting downhill and found himself in position to finish around the rim. He was a defensive menace throughout the tournament. Francois picked up full court in every single game and made sure to cause multiple turnovers before the offense could get across half court.

Josiah torched every defense that he faced. The point guard used his tight handle on the rock to create solid scoring opportunities for him and the team. He made sure to control the tempo of the game. Josiah did an excellent job finding his teammates in open spots to keep everyone involved. It was very obvious that each of his teammates love when he is on the floor because they know he will dish out dimes and score at will.

The young guard from Del Norte applied pressure on both sides of the court. On defense he picked up full court and he was never afraid to go after the opposing teams best guard. He made it really difficult for other teams to bring the ball down the floor and set up an offense. His work on defense led to multiple layups for him and his team. His pull up jump shot was on point throughout the tournament. He located his favorite spots on the floor and created clean looks for himself from those areas.

Miles held down the paint for his squad. He stayed active in the passing lanes and collected multiple steals by intercepting the ball. He caused multiple on ball turnovers as well by poking the ball free and leading his team out in transition. Shereni brought the energy that his team needed.

Anteas let it fly from the three point line this weekend. He knocked down a few big time shots for his team throughout the weekend. When the offense got stagnate he was never afraid to create a look and fire up the shot. His confidence was always through the roof and no moment is too big for this kid.
