Lucero put together a very solid tournament. He was able to light up the defense from beyond the arc on Saturday! The combo guard did a great job getting out in transition. He was able to get some nice looks from the corner by leading his team on a few fast breaks. Jeremiah displayed how great of a teammate he is by laying out on the floor for multiple 50/50 plays as well.

Lucero showcased his ability to score in any way possible. Off of the ball he found holes in the defense and spotted up for great looks that he converted on from deep. He also went to work when he found himself in a situation to attack his defender and create his own shot. His pull up jumper made him extremely difficult to stop along with his ability to finish at the basket with his soft touch at the rim.

Jeremiah is raising his stock here at the Salsa Slam. It is very evident that he has spent a large portion of his free time in the gym. Lucero is constantly moving on offense and earning himself some high percentage shot attempts. His jumper has been cash throughout the Salsa Slam. Lucero is playing with plenty of confidence on the floor here in Bernalillo. He has finished very well inside of the paint. Lucero does a good job floating the ball over the trees in the paint. He has a phenomenal touch around the basket. Jeremiah has also taken it upon himself to step up defensively here at the Salsa Slam. He is picking guards up full court and causing the offense to have a difficult time getting into their sets.
