DeMarcus started the first live period with a 30 point game that led to two new scholarship offers for the big guard. While the rest of July was not as explosive for Surratt, he ended his AAU career with close to double figure D1 offers and is lining up official visits for the whole fall. With a big Senior season, DeMarcus could be firmly in the mix as Mr. Basketball.

There is some confusion with Tylin because he has already announced he will go to the 2027 class but for the time being, he is a 2026. George busted out with a 45 point game last week and has proven himself to be one of the best pure scorers in the state, regardless of class. George is very explosive and can put up points in a hurry. He's firmly established as a top player in the class at this point.

One of the biggest individual stock boosters over the past year, McGillis is knocking on the door of being a op ten player in this class after a July where he showed his continued ability to be both a scorer and a playmaker for Ohio Champion AAU. I expect Athens to be the 9th region player of the year and Covington Catholic to be the top ranked or second ranked team in the state, preseason.

Chief made a huge impact on both ends of the court, all summer long. With the ability to guard for 94 feet and push the pace on offense as well, Cameron is going to be the engine that drives St. Xavier all season long. In the AAU season, Chief went up against top notch guards from around the country and more than held his own. It remains to be seen what level of player he ends up at but Cameron is 100% a scholarship player.
