Coffey was living in the paint during a 9 AM win to help his team move on to the elite 8 of the championship bracket. One of the quickest guards in Ohio, Coffey is able to blow by the primary defender off the dribble and did a nice job of finishing through contact and making the right read when help came over to stop his dribble drive. Coffey also made a couple of jumpers, a key skill for him to continue to display. When Phenom United can lock up defensively and push the pace with the ball in Coffey's hands, they are an extremely dangerous team.

Brooks caught fire from 3-point range on Friday morning as he showcased his ability to get buckets in a hurry. With a lightning quick release and the movement skills off the ball to find open shots, Brooks is a strong off-ball option for Phenom United as he's a guy his teammates want to get the ball so he can score. When Phenom United stretched their lead from around 10 points to 25 points in a hurry, Brooks was a key part of that run. I also liked some of the on ball defense Brooks showed me this morning, the next step in his offensive game will be becoming an elite passer to set up his teammates.

Clay is the third guard I'm mentioning from this Phenom United 15 U squad because when you win by 30 points in a sweet 16 battle, you are going to be rewarded with some standout performers. Clay balances being a scorer and passer off the ball with a couple tough pull up jumpers and simple kickout passes. Clay also had a nice bucket off a curl cut from a designed play to get him the ball. One of the more talented off guards in the Louisville area, Clay has shown me he can make perimeter shots and has impressive physical tools to work with on the defensive end of the court.

One of the fastest rising prospects in the country from the 2027 class, Tyson's two way impact was on full display in a one point victory over Upward Stars in the sweet 16. Tyson is one of the elite athletes from the point guard position and his steal and dunk early in the game set the tone for Phenom United defensively. With multiple high major coaches in attendance for this game, Tyson's impact was felt on both ends of the court.

One of the more talented scoring guards in the 2028 class in Ohio, Williams has the ability to knock down perimeter shots and score off the pick and roll by getting downhill or pulling up in a defenders face. With natural ball handling ability to change speeds and directions, Williams is tough to stay in front of at the point of attack. To close the game Williams knocked down a handful of free throws to ice the game and secure the victory. Williams could be a breakout star in the Cleveland area this winter and is making noise on the 3SSB circuit already at the 15 U level.
